2013. WFF-WBBF INTERNATIONAL SIGNED MEMORANDUM WITH HEAD CITY CHARKOV ADMINISTRATION.
During the Official Visit to Ukraine in Charkov the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS has signed the Memorandum with the Vice Chairman City Charkov ALEKSANDR POPOV. The Memorandum Ceremony took place at the Headquarters Major City Charkov. Also at the Ceremony were present a number of high WFF-WBBF International and Charkov City Officials and the President WFF-WBBF Ukraine OLGA GLADKOVA.
The Memorandum declares common mutual activities organizing the coming 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship in Charkov.
Right after the Memorandum Ceremony a wide press conference was held at the Headquarters Major City Charkov for the occassion.

In March 2013 the President WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was on Official Visit to Ukraine Charkov City the second time. The International President was assisted by the Vice President WFF-WBBF International ANDREJ BASOV, who came from Russia.
OFFICIAL MEETING AT THE CITY MAJOR HEADQUARTERS.
The Official Meeting at the Headquarters Major City Charkov was organized again. To go on with the coming event the Vice Chairman City Charkov ALEKSANDR POPOV and the President Ukraine National WFF-WBBF Federation OLGA GLADKOVA signed the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship Statute documents.
ORGANIZING COMMITTEE.
During the official visit the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship Organizing Committe was finished to collect and it was announced for the multiple Ukraine media and press. Among the Members of the Organizing Committee there is a number of the Directors of various Municipal Departments too. Many organizing questions were discussed and important decissions on the Event were made too.
IFBB SUPPORTS «RUSSIAN SCHWARCENEGGER».
Ukraine IFBB officials addressed the Administration City Charkov and presented information about the respected Russia Federation Governmental State Official, the WFF-WBBF VIP International Official, three times WFF-WBBF „Universe“ («Юниверс» ВФФ-ВББФ) Champion, a famous Hollywood Actor and Producer, called „Russia Schwarzenegger“ («Русским Шварценеггером») ALEKSANDR NEVSKY.
At once the Chairman City Charkov decided to invite ALEKSANDR NEVSKY to be a VIP Charkov City Quest during the time of the coming WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship in Charkov. The Chairman City Charkov called ALEKSANDR NEVSKY to Moscow and received the preliminary agreement of ALEKSANDR NEVSKY to participate in Charkov.
CHARKOV BODYBUILDING PRO WORLD GRAND PRIX.
The Organizing Committee works on the possibility to organize for Professional Bodybuilders right after the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship at the same Venue in Charkov City the 2013 WFF-WBBF „Charkov Professional World Grand Prix“ with the usual Prize Money on June 2. That will be already the fourth WFF-WBBF International Pro Event in one month period!

Today International President WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS with the Official Visit arrived to Moscow (Russia).
During the visit the International President will meet International Vice Presidents ANDREJ BASOV, MIKHAIL DYAKONOV and VIP Person of the Federation DMITRIJ CIZOV (a former World Pro Champion).

Бодибилдинг – от заката до расцвета

Россию с официальным визитом посетил президент Всемирной Федерации Бодибилдинга (WBBF) Эдмундас Даубарас. В 60-е он «взращивал» культуризм на советской почве, в 70-е боролся с его запретом, а в 90-е основал организацию, которая сегодня объединяет более ста государств. О непростой истории советского бодибилдинга, закулисных интригах и золотой поре этого спорта беседуем с г-ном Даубарасом, трижды Мистером Вселенная Александром Невским и президентом общественной организации «Атлетический фитнес России», представителем WBBF в РФ Андреем Басовым.
АН: Эдмундас, как складывалась судьба культуризма в СССР?
Э. Даубарас: Этот спорт пришёл к нам в 1966 году. Методические рекомендации взяли из чешских и польских журналов. Страны соцлагеря стали нашими первыми соперниками на международных турнирах. Тогда бодибилдинг назывался по-советски – «атлетическая гимнастика» – и пользовался оглушительным успехом. Чтобы попасть в переполненные залы дворцов культуры, где проходили соревнования и показательные выступления, зрители выламывали двери! Но в 1970 году власти запретили этот «западный спорт».
АН: «Западный» – это был единственный аргумент против?
Э. Даубарас: По сути да, но истинные причины были даже не идеологического характера. Культуризм составлял большую конкуренцию тяжелой атлетике. «Забирал» талантливых спортсменов, частично инвентарь и залы. А тяжёлая атлетика – всё-таки олимпийский вид спорта, её всячески поддерживали. Поэтому с 70-го года началась неофициальная история советского бодибилдинга.
Мы пошли на риск и начали проводить подпольные турниры в школьных спортзалах. Фактически ходили по лезвию бритвы. И как долго мы смогли бы так существовать, неизвестно. Я решился открыто отстаивать культуризм. И первым делом затеял переписку с нашим ярым противником, журналистом газеты «Советский спорт» Ивановым. К слову, бывшим тяжелоатлетом. Он клеймил атлетическую гимнастику из номера в номер. Увы, мои письма никак не повлияли на ситуацию.
Тогда, находясь в своём родном городе, Клайпеде, я написал обращение в защиту культуризма, собрал подписи видных спортсменов и повёз его в Москву. В приёмные ЦК КПСС, Совета министров СССР, в газеты «Правда» и «Известия». Я писал, что этот спорт помогает молодёжи готовиться к службе в армии, не только развивает мускулатуру, но и укрепляет здоровье, отвлекает людей от улицы, алкоголя и курения... В конце обращения стояли мои контакты, и вскоре после возвращения в Клайпеду, на мой домашний телефон посыпались звонки. Звонили из ЦК КПСС, расспрашивали, уточняли... Нашим местным «князькам» не понравилось такое внимание центра, и у меня дома отключили телефон. А потом вызвали в горком партии. Просили прекратить беспокоить Москву, и, представьте, разрешили проводить международный турнир по атлетической гимнастике в Литве! Когда во всём остальном Союзе она оставалась под запретом. Я посчитал это большой победой. И с тех пор почти 20 лет мы проводили в Клайпеде турнир «Янтарный приз». К нам приезжали спортсмены со всего Союза, а также из соцстран.
Во время перестройки культуризм был разрешен на всей территории СССР. Госкомспорт спохватился и начал присваивать звания мастеров спорта чемпионам нашего турнира. В 1988-м на «Янтарный приз» приехали 104 команды из Союза, в каждой категории выступало по 50 спортсменов. А ещё десять лет спустя мы зарегистрировали Всемирную Федерацию Бодибилдинга.
АН: Как складываются ваши отношения с другими международными федерациями бодибилдинга (IFBB, NABBA)? Вы друзья или конкуренты?
Э. Даубарас: После распада СССР мы, как голодные люди, смотрели на Запад, как на стол с шикарной едой. Казалось, что там сосредоточено всё самое прогрессивное и интересное. Конечно, нашей сборной хотелось вступить в ряды международной организации. Мы ездили на чемпионаты по версии NABBA. И со временем стали вникать в юридические и финансовые моменты. Оформляя командировки, мы не получали никаких чеков. А за всё же надо отчитываться! Оказалось, что при сборе годовых взносов с членов организации, никаких документов тоже не выдаётся. Позже я выяснил, что NABBA вообще не зарегистрирована как международная федерация. Юридически это всего лишь спортивный клуб Англии! Как тогда наша национальная сборная может влиться в её ряды?! С IFBB ситуация не лучше. Это коммерческая фирма, которая принадлежит трём акционерам. Их главная цель – заработать, а не пропагандировать спорт. Знаете, сколько спортсмен-любитель платит за участие в чемпионате Европы по версии IFBB? 500 евро.
АН: А у вас какие взносы?
Э. Даубарас: 50 евро. И деньги берёт не федерация, а местный организатор – за зал и призы.
Вот такая плачевная ситуация с международными федерациями и побудила меня зарегистрировать WBBF. Сегодня она насчитывает 117 стран-членов. Особенно активны государства бывшего соцблока, Латинской Америки (Бразилия, Аргентина, Парагвай, Уругвай), ЮАР...
Единственные в мире, мы на международном уровне работаем с детьми, развиваем направление «детский фитнес». Первыми мы включили в чемпионаты отдельные категории для людей с инвалидностью. То, что вытворяют спортсмены с ограниченными возможностями, это уму непостижимо! Люди занимаются спортом несмотря ни на что, укрепляют своё тело и уверенными шагами идут к победе. Их воле и целеустремлённости может позавидовать любой! К нам на чемпионаты по фитнесу приезжает литовский спортсмен-колясочник, который ходит на руках. Индийский и бразильский спортсмены без ног, на протезах, выполняют потрясающие гимнастические упражнения. Чемпионкой мира в 2011 году стала россиянка Анастасия Белковская, замечательная молодая спортсменка без ног.
АН: Чемпионы мира по бодибилдингу по версии разных федераций – они похожи?
Э. Даубарас: К сожалению, нет. На Западе золотая эпоха бодибилдинга давно прошла. Большинство спортсменов попадается на анаболических стероидах. Их чемпионы среди профессионалов весят по 170 кг, после двадцати шагов уже страдают одышкой и не могут нагнуться, чтобы себе шнурки завязать... Самое страшное, что я не шучу. Чемпион мира по бодибилдингу, немец Маркус Рул решил спрыгнуть со сцены и пойти в зал – порвал себе связки. Разве это можно назвать спортом?!
А. Невский: Вопрос о вреде стероидов при этом замалчивается. Хотя каждый год от их употребления гибнут спортсмены. В 2002 году национальная сборная IFBB России – все восемь спортсменов – попалась на допинге. Атлеты стали чемпионами и тут же лишились титулов. Тогда в финале выступало 35 спортсменов, из которых 28 дисквалифицировали! Именно допинговые скандалы стали причиной того, что Международный олимпийский комитет отказал IFBB признать бодибилдинг олимпийским видом спорта.
Всемирная Федерация Бодибилдинга пытается донести одну простую мысль: то, во что культуризм превратился сегодня из-за анаболических стероидов – это не то, ради чего снимались в своё время первые фильмы про Геракла. Красота тела, сила и мужество, интеллект и духовное богатство – вот, что нужно пропагандировать! И WBBF делает это всеми силами.
АН: Вы хотите сказать, что в вашей федерации нет проблем со стероидами?
А. Басов: Во всяком случае, их гораздо меньше. Наши чемпионы – это нормальные, здоровые люди. А всё потому, что мы изменили критерии судейства. Анаболики принимаются для бесконтрольного увеличения мышечной массы. Значит, если не ставить во главу угла наличие груды мышц, интерес к анаболикам падает. Для нас основное – это пропорциональное телосложение, отсутствие подкожного жира и умение владеть своим телом. Нельзя бесконтрольно растить мышечную массу. Ведь есть мышцы, которые хорошо растут, а есть так называемые отстающие. Когда человек зациклен на постоянном росте, у него не получается как следует поработать над отстающими мышцами. Отсюда появляется дисбаланс. Дисгармония тела. И спортсмен превращается в «монстра».
Правильные пропорции – это просто труд. Человек, который регулярно работает над своим телом, имеет все шансы на победу в чемпионате по версии WBBF. Мы уверены, что именно такой победитель способен вызвать зрительскую симпатию и вновь вернуть бодибилдингу позитивный имидж.
А. Невский: В этом году WBBF и WFF открывают Золотой зал Славы всемирного бодибилдинга. Сюда войдут спортсмены, общественные деятели и представители власти разных стран, которые способствуют развитию этого спорта. Причём, ратуют за классический культуризм. Ту самую гармонию и красоту тела. Будут награждены председатель австрийского парламента Альфред Герцл; первый тренер Арнольда Шварценеггера, австрийский чемпион Курт Марнул; голливудский актёр и культурист Ральф Мюллер... Для меня большая честь, что среди этих имён Эдмундас видит и моё.
АН: По вашим оценкам, отношение россиян к бодибилдингу как-то изменилось в последнее время?
А. Невский: К счастью, тему культуризма всё чаще стали поднимать СМИ. Выходят сотни моих интервью, где я рассказываю о бодибилдинге, издаются книги и энциклопедии. Во всех школах города Тулы сейчас есть мои гантели. Такой подарок я сделал ученикам во время серии бесплатных мастер-классов по бодибилдингу. И интерес ребят колоссальный. Впереди ещё очень большая работа, но мы чувствуем отдачу и готовы действовать дальше!
