WORLD BODY BUILDING FEDERATION (WBBF)
2019. INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING SPORT.
WHAT WE ARE FACING TODAY?
MORE AND MORE NEW FEDERATIONS APPEAR. NOTHING CHANGES.
Every year the International Sport Society meets a number of new National and International Federations of various names and various kinds. Being very little public information available people and sportsmen have difficulties to understand what is what. Every of these federations  use to declare they are better than the other ones. But that are only declarations. For example NABBA (National Amateur Body Building Association, juridically it is a UK Public Club) was split three times during the last twenty years and the new federations appeared then. After these organizations also fighted inside and again were split. The process never ends and it gives nothing positive especially on for the Official Sport, for the recognition of bodybuilding...
For decades due to the false ways of development by the former International Sport Leaders today nobody looks towards bodybuilding seriously. Former beautiful kind of sport is turned in to business only. Manipulating with sportsmen, doping affairs, health and even lives of bodybuilders is a „normal everyday‘s“ case. Nothing is official and it seems like never stopping children‘s game. Bodybuilding lives in a closed inner circle, closed narrow society, which most people do not like or even hate. This is the image of bodybuilding today. And this image is very negative. At the moment only WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International works on the official recognition of our sport and of the bettering the public opinion about the bodybuilding sport.
WHICH FEDERATION IS BETTER?
We mentioned above that today there are lots of “International Bodybuilding federations”. To get the truth about these “federations”  is not so difficult -  just ask then what are their strategic aims? What they seek? It is not so difficult to see that nearly all so called “federations” are only some ambitious plans of some definite individuals... nothing more!
No one of these “federations” ever influenced our sport on official level. No one of them ever tried to do this. They represent various unreal histories. The reason is clear – they have no history at all and this is the reason they create the false ones! Every day they are playing their games and fooling people around. People do not think that that these are not real sport federations in fact! Most “federations” are private companies. Among them many have no proper registration by law as International Organizations. No one of them is recognized officially by any serious organization. In 1998 the I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee) refused to recognize the IFBB and Weider brothers Joe and Ben sold the IFBB  (International Federation of Body Builders) federation, their sport magazines and the “Olympia” contest. After this the situation of bodybuilding is unstable in the World. Sport became extremely commercial and official sport competitions turned to various  “festivals”, “weekends”, “nights”  and “classics”.
It seems that the WFF-WBBF  International is the only one to go on working on the ideas of Weider brothers. At least we make efforts to do this. No one cares for official recognized sport, but WFF-WBBF.
We have spoken many times about such “federations” before, about the nonsense they are creating in our sport and we will leave them in peace now as there is nothing to say more. Sport specialists understand that those federations play no role in the official bodybuilding sport on International level (see the Global Bodybuilding Site www.wff.lt , read historical articles and see unique documents on the main page and in the forum).
When we seriously speak about the real official sport, today we can mention only two International Organizations and that are the IFBB and the WFF-WBBF.
IFBB.
Though today  there are many “hot” IFBB  questions, such as of law, of finance, of book-keeping, of false democracy and of doping.  The private IFBB of RAFAEL SANTONJA even after splitting remains one of the most serious International units of bodybuilding sport.
Note:
In 2009 – IFBB split for the parts of the Spanish RAFAEL SANTONJA and the Singapore  PAUL CHUA. IN 2017 – IFBB split again for the parts of RAFAEL SANTONJA  and the USA NPC (National Physique Committee) of JIM MANION. All mentioned parts are in confrontation one with another today. All parts want to be on top one over another. Seeing this the historic IFBB creators and our real respected friends BEN  and JOE WEIDER brothers could have a heart attack.
WFF-WBBF.
Created in 1968 and celebrating it’s 52-d year of activities the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works for the official sport of bodybuilding. Today the WFF-WBBF unites national organizations from 134 countries that represent all continents. Every year the WFF-WBBF organizes over 60 International events in various countries.
The WFF-WBBF received recognition by the Non Olympic Sports Committee, by a number of National Olympic Committees, by a number of Governments and Sport Ministries, by the ISU International Sports University (from 2017 ISU is  an Associated  Member of the UNESCO at the UN). Even the Vatican noticed WFF-WBBF International. During the official visit to the Headquarters of Vatican the  Roman Pope Benedictus XI-th award was presented to the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS with the Honorable Medal (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI)  and the Pope sent His blessing after the official meeting in Vatican (2011).
It seems today that only the WFF-WBBF International has aims and ideas how to develop bodybuilding on official level. Facing the new ambitious Global projects the WFF-WBBF takes real steps to guide our sport World Wide.

2019. SPORT MINISTRY LITHUANIA PRESENTED WFF-WBBF MAGAZINES.
NO OTHER INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING FEDERATION HAS IT‘S OWN MAGAZINE, BUT WFF-WBBF.
Today  the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  International unites 134 Country – Members and organizes every year nearly 60 anual Am and Pro International Events World Wide. Looking from the juridic point of view the WFF-WBBF International is no doubt the Real World Bodybuilding Leader.
WFF-WBBF International started issuing the International Magazines in various languages in 1989. The WFF-WBBF Magazines are spread free of charge during the most important International Sport Events World Wide and also in all Country-Members of the Federation. The Magazines can be found in many basic State Libraries. Once the German Leizig State Library addressed the WFF-WBBF International asking the Federation Magazines for the readers.
We would like to underline that no other known International Bodybuilding Sport Organization has it‘s own International Magazine, but the WFF-WBBF.
Not long ago the Sport Ministry Lithuania informed the WFF-WBBF International that the WFF-WBBF Magazines will be  Representing sport of Republic Lithuania Internationally.
ARNOLD SCWARZENEGGER RECOMMENDS
The first WFF-WBBF International Magazine (1989) was the famous methodical issue „Arnold Scwarzenegger Recommends“ („Арнольд Шварценеггер рекомендует»). At that time many East Europe Bodybuilders were short of the methodical knowlidge and that was the reason of the 2 000 000 sucessfull issues of the magazine. The „Arnold Scwarzenegger Recommends“ bacame the real „Cathekizmus“ for most bodybuilders of that time. It was spread in the countries of former USSR and East Europe. Several generations of today‘s bodybuilders grew up under these magazines.
WORKING PUBLISHING GROUP
The WFF-WBBF working publishing group is led by the Member International Journalist Association the International WFF-WBBF President DSc EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. For the period of the last 30 years the WFF-WBBF International published 37 International Magazines under various names in various languages.
GERMAN LEIPZIG STATE LIBRARY.

WORLD BODYBUILDING  ENCYCLOPEDIA
Crowning it‘s 50 years of  International Bodybuilding activities, the WFF-WBBF)  works on the Unique Global International Bodybuilding Project -  the „World Bodybuilding  Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедия всемирного культуризма»)
Until now nobody even tried to work on such a huge International Project. To be frank, only few people can do it. There were attempts to name some previous works as „Encyclopedia“ too, but that were not Encyclopedias of Bodybuilding Sport in real (for example, as Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s „Encyclopedia“ was written about himself in person mostly). In real every Encyclopedia covers much wider things.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
SOCIALIST COUNTRIES BODYBUILDING LITERATURE.
Before the prohibition of bodybuilding in the middle of the sixties of the last century in all Socialist World Countries  the only one regular magazine about bodybuilding sport was Polish „Sport Dla Wszystkich“. At that time Lithuanians presented the basics of bodybuilding in the magazine „The Student“(„Moksleivis“).
Through the time of the prohibition of bodybuilding sport in the Socialist Countries nobody even dreamed about the bodybuilding literature. The exception was in Czechoslovakia Bratislava issued  „Trener“ Magazine and the German DDR (Deutsches Demokratik Republik)  Weight Lifting Magazine „The Weightlifter‘s Training“ ( „Schwer Atlet Training“) which started to publish some information about our sport. During this time DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  used to give articles and contest information for these Magazines. Also for BEN WEIDER‘S „Flex“ magazine. All magazines used to publishe the DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS given materials. First of all it was information from the World‘s Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding Contest, the only one anual International Bodybuilding Event in all Socialist Counties, the „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз», 1968-2017). The above mentioned Czechoslovakia „Trener“ Magazines were published by JOZEF MAZAK and later by MILAN PERDOCH.
International WFF-WBBF worked and still works on the documents and various materials of World‘s Bodybuilding History. The WFF-WBBF „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ Magazine started in English, Russian and Lithuanian languages in 1989. During this period of time the WFF-WBBF printed and spread through the World several millions copies of the Magazine. „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ is awailable at the National WFF-WBBF federations in all 134 Country - members of the WFF-WBBF International as well as at the most important World‘s International Bodybuilding and Fitness Events.
Main articles of the „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ Magazine were published in various Internet Pages, sport and public media, among them regularly in Spanish „Fitness Alive“ (Argentina, Magazine for South America and Spain), in German „Fitness News“ (Austria, Magazine for Germany, Austria and Switzerland), in English „Strenght and Health“ (UK, Magazine for England, Scotland and Ireland), in Russian „Zeleznyj Mir“ (Russia, for Russia and Post Soviet Russian Speaking Countries and etc..).
At the beginning a number of the WFF-WBBF Magazines were of methodical character. These Magazines were teaching the bodybuilders how to train from the primityve beginning to the Top Professional Level. Through decades the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS collected and translated materials and documents from different possible sources, analised, evaluated and systemized them and finally presented as methodical recommendations for the sportsmen. That were a number of popular International Seria Magazines under the titles like “ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER recommends”, “Training Programs of the World’s Best Bodybuilders”, “Bodybuilding Stars Recommend” etc..). Ending the 90-ties of the last century basing on these Magazines a number of new generations of bodybuilders were born and educated. Wishing to have these Magazines in their collections the libraries of a number of Countries addressed the International WFF-WBBF Headquarters (like German State Library of Leipzig, Germany).
Today the WFF-WBBF „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ („Sportinis fitnesas ir kultūrizmas“, „
Спортивный фитнес и культуризм») magazine has only informative International character but this makes it to be even more important. The Magazine covers most important World‘s Bodybuilding and Fitness Events and it gives true situation of sport on Official International Level, sets the goals of the sport for the future. Nobody else in the World does it, but the WFF-WBBF.

2019. WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
LEARN WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY!
Fifty years ago during the twenty years lasting prohibition and prosecution of bodybuilding in the USSR “Amber Prix International” was the only one Official International contest in Socialist World. Later USSR Ministry of Sport recognized “Amber Prix International” as official USSR Championship and presented “Sport Master” titles to “Amber Prix International” champions. In 2011 Vatican named us as “dissidents” and presented with the Roman Pope Medal.

80 YEARS OLD VALERIJ KORESKOV SEEKS OLYMPIC MEDAL.
„LIFE BEGINS ONLY OVER 70 YEARS AGE.
ALL LIFE WITH SPORT.
A famous Lithuania journalist, writer and poet, the well known art photographer  and „ bodybuilder of all times“ VALERIJ KORESKOV from Vilnius City spent all his life with sport.
AWARDED WITH INTERNATIONAL JOHN GRIMEK PREMIUM.
First time being 70 years old VALERIJ KORESKOV particiapted among senior athletes at the Olympic Games and at the Senior Europe Championship.  Then in Italy VALERIJ KORESKOV was awarded with the International „John Grimek Award“. In 2005 the International „John Grimek Award“ was presented to the International WFF-WBBF Federation President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS as well.
STUDENT OF FAMPOUS VILNIUS „VICTORIA“ GYM.
Fifty years ago the International WFF-WBBF President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  met VALERIJ KORESKOV at the famous Vilnius „Victoria“ gym. VALERIJ KORESKOV was attending this gym regularly, had all the time great shape but never took part at the competitions. At that time „Victoria“gym  was run by the genious trainers CESLAV TAMULEVIC  and VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ. Both trainers prepared a number of the unique and extremelly high level champions of the historic „Amber Prix International“ contest. At taht time many famous people attended „Victoria“ gym, among them the former Prime Minister Republic Lithuania GEDIMINAS KIRKILAS, the Head of the State Control Committee RISARDAS KRINICKIS. The specialists know very well that after the prohibition and prosecution of bodybuilding in the Socialist Countries the „Amber Prix International“ was recognized by the USSR Sport Ministry (Goskomsport USSR) as official USSR bodybuilding Championaship. The Sport Ministry started presenting the high official  „Sport Master“ names to the champions of the „Amber Prix International“. After the evaluating historic events of those years the specialists decided that the „Amber Prix International“ was the real World Championship of the Socialist Countries in fact. The political and social value, the level of the organizers, the level of participating athletes was exactly the same as it was at those years in the „Western“ World or even much better.
In 2011 during the Official Visit of the WFF-WBBF International delegatyion to the Vatican our activities during the socialist times were named as „disidentic“ towards the Communist Regime. For the work done in those years the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was awarded with the medal of the Roman Pope (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI, any interested may find articles and historic documents on Global Site www.wff.lt at the main page and in forum topics).

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
MINISTER OF SPORT REPUBLIC POLAND.
In 2008 the WFF-WBBF International Federation (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) was organizing the World Amateur Championship in Polish City Bydgoszcz. The preparation of the contest started a year before it. At once the organizers faced the negative reaction of the National Federation IFBB Poland. The President IFBB Poland (International Federation of Body Builders) PAWEL FILEBORN wrote the letter to the Major City Bydgoszcz KAZIMIERZ DOMBROWICZ  informing him that WFF-WBBF is illegal and has no juridical power to organize such a contest in Poland.
Then under the leadership of the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS the official delegation to meet the Minister of Sport of the Republic Poland was organized. Together with the International President the delegation members were the National President WFF-WBBF Poland ANDRZEJ MACIJEWSKI, the Mecenat JERZY GOTOWSKI, the Vice Major City Bydgoszcz KAZIMIERZ DROZD.
The meeting of the WFF-WBBF delegation and the Minister of Sport of the Republic of Poland ZBIGNIEW PACELT was organized at the Headquarters of the Government Republic of Poland. There the WFF-WBBF juridical documents were presented to the Minister ZBIGNIEW PACELT. Among the documents were the documents about the WFF-WBBF International rights to organize competitions in all Countries of the World.
After evaluation of the situation the reaction of the Minister was quick. The Minister ZBIGNIEW PACELT issued the letter informing about the rights of the WFF-WBBF International Federation and that was the opening doors for the WFF-WBBF International activities in Poland. All misunderstandings of unfriendly people were finished.
WFF-WBBF HONOUR MEDAL FOR SPORT MINISTER POLAND.
During this official meeting at the Headquarters of the Government Republic of Poland the WFF-WBBF International Honour Silver Medal was proudly presented to the Minister ZBIGNIEW PACELT.
OFFICIAL MEETING AT THE PARLIAMENT REPUBLIC LITHUANIA.
Right before the2008  World Amateur Championship in Poland, the Major of the City Bydgoszcz KAZIMIERZ DOMBROWICZ with him accompanying Polish Officials was included in the delegation of the WFF-WBBF International which  took part at the 2008 Official Meeting at the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania.

HISTORY AFTER THIRTY YEARS.
1989 FIRST BODYBUILDING CONTEST „USSR VERSUS USA“.
AMERICAN PIONEERS CAME TO USSR.
Ending the USSR and breaking the „Iron Wall“ the socialist countries joined  the democratic World. In 1989 the first bodybuilding contest between USSR and USA was organized in the USSR city of Leningrad (Матчевая встреча «СССР-США»). We will not speak about the competition itself as many participants of is did it many times. We will speak about the facts which remained unknown for thirty years.
That was the first time in the history when USA bodybuilders visited the USSR. Both sides made great preparations for the event. Organizers, trainers, athletes worked a lot. Also worked and special secret services, like KGB. Everybody expected that together with USA bodybuilders the owner and the President of the IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders) BEN WEIDER will visit the USSR too.
LOUIS ZWICK.
In 2002 President WFF-WBBF International (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS met his old friend American LOUIS ZWICK in German Stuttgart. At that time LOUIS ZWICK was a known organizer of International contests like “America Pageant”, “Fame”, “Hit the Rock” etc.. LOUIS ZWICK was not only organizer of these contests. He also was a producer of the television that was working at this event in Germany too. LOUIS ZWICK organized this competition as well as all other just to make a film of it and after to sell the reports to the American sport ESPN television.
INITIATOR OF THE 1989 BODYBUILDING CONTEST “SSSR VERSUS USA”.
In 2002 in Germany LOUIS ZWICK organized a very specific contest. He named it “European Championship”. He brought from America to Germany a number of athletes and all those athletes took first six places among top competitors. Participating German sportsmen were only like a decoration for Americans. Again the contest was filmed. The interviews of American athletes and some spectators were taken.
As DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS knew LOUIS ZWICK since 1989 first visit of the USA bodybuilders to the USSR both have spoken on various topics. Among them was the historic 1989 contest “USSR versus USA”. LOUIS ZWICK surprised saying he was the initiator from America side of this competition in1989. He was selecting every participant personally discussing the individual conditions of his participation in the USSR. Finally he collected the necessary team of bodybuilders. LOUIS ZWICK was taking a big financial risk. Having no his personal money LOUIS ZWICK rented the necessary money from the bank to pay all costs of the event from the American athletes side. Nobody knew what will happen…
RUNAWAYS.
At that time for a number of years the best USSR bodybuilder was VIKTORAS JUCYS from Klaipeda (Lithuania). It seemed he must participate against Americans in 1989 Leningrad competition.   But the plans of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who was the trainer and sponsor of VIKTORAS JUCYS  were different. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was thinking of his personal meeting with BEN WEIDER  and their discussion of the future plans of common work.  Both DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and BEN WEIDR  were in close correspondence for long years and both were waiting for the moment of meeting.
At the backstage of the “USSR-USA” contest in Leningrad was a group of USA television men. They were filming the event. Speaking with one of them (later we learned that he was LOUIS ZWICK) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS told him  that the best USSR bodybuilders ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS (Siauliai, Lithuania)  and VIKTORAS JUCYS are present at the event but they will not participate. LOUIS ZWICK was surprised about this and invited all three of us to shoot a film next day.
AMERICAN FILMS.
Next morning DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS down of the hotel to meet the LOUIS ZWICK  and his filming men. Americans explained that they are followed by people from secret services, like KGB and they want all of us to run away from them. Only then the filming will be free of political pressure and represent reality. So we did. We jumped into a free minibus “Latvia” which was close to the hotel and left. We went to a primitive old bodybuilding gym in the suburbs of Leningrad City. Nobody was there but few local athletes. An interview of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was taken and training of VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS was filmed. LOUIS CWICK asked VIKTORAS JUCYS to end the filming with some words in English. Tought by DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS he said: “America – we will pump You up!”.
Later about the contest “USSR versus USA”, about training of the best USSR bodybuilders VIKTORAS JUCYS  and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS, about the life in the USSR  LOUIS ZWICK made several films. Those films he successfully sold the  ESPN television in America and covered his expenses for the USA bodybuilding team. Later LOUIS ZWICK  sent those films to DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS (films are kept in the archives of the WFF-WBBF International).
TROJKA. INVITATION TO PARIS.
To meet BEN WEIDER DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS succeeded only after the contest “SSSR versus USA”. That was in restaurant “Trojka” where the organizers made a banquet for VIP Persons. Both DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and BEN WEIDER  were sitting close together and had several hours to discuss the matters both of them planned to as both decided not to discuss this in their correspondence. Ending the discussion BEN WEIDER invited DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to be his personal guest at the coming World Championship in Paris (France). And this happened as decided.

Later USSR Ministry of Sport recognized “Amber Prix International” as being official USSR Championship and presented “USSR Sport Master” titles to the “Amber Prix International” champions.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF SOCIALIST COUNTRIES.
In 1989 and 1990 together with the “Amber Prix International” official USSR Youth Championships were held in Klaipeda. Thirty years ago International specialists decided to call the “Amber Prix International” as the “World Championship of Socialist Countries”.
VATICAN BESSING AND MEDAL OF ROMAN POPE.
In 2011 during the official visit of the Chairmen of the WFF-WBBF the Vatican named us as “dissidents” towards the Communist regime and gave us Roman Pope’s Blessing and presented with the Roman Pope Medal.

LEARN WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
FIRST TIME GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED BODYBUILDING EVENT.
Working from 1968 today the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International unites National Orgaanizations of 135 Countries that represent all Continents. Every year the WFF-WBBF organizes over 60 International events in various countries.
The history of the WFF-WBBF International is unique. Today the WFF-WBBF seeks to become the associated  member of the United Nations (UN). During it‘s long history the federation went a long way. In fivty years there were many happenings in it‘s life.
The history of the WFF-WBBF is connected with the twenty years lasting prohibition and prosecution of bodybuilding sport in the USSR and all Socialist World as well. During the 2011 Official meeting in Vatican the activities of the WFF-WBBF of that period by Vatican administration were named as „disidentic“ towards the communist regime. Due to this the International President WFF-WBBF DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was awarded with the Medal of the Roman Pope (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI). The historic documents and articles are published in various languages on the Global Site www.wff.lt  and in International Magazine „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ («Спортивный фитнес и культуризм»).
Then after twenty  years of bodybuilding prohibition and prosecution by communist regime in 1996 first time in history the International bodybuilding event was supported by Government of the Republic of Lithuania. Then the Heads and Organizers of the 1996 Europe Championship were: Government Official JULIUS JURGINIS, International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, Vice Minister Sport Lithuania RIMAS GIRSKIS.

HISTORY AFTER THIRTY YEARS.
1989 FIRST BODYBUILDING CONTEST „USSR VERSUS USA“.
AMERICAN PIONEERS CAME TO USSR.
ON THE KNEES USSR BODYBUILDING FEDERATION GENERAL SECRETARY.
Ending the USSR and breaking the „Iron Wall“ the socialist countries joined  the democratic World. In 1989 the first bodybuilding contest between USSR and USA was organized in the USSR city of Leningrad (Матчевая встреча «СССР-США»). There were ten American athletes and twenty from the USSR side.
ON THE KNEES USSR BODYBUILDING FEDERATION GENERAL SECRETARY.
Just before the meeting of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and BEN WEIDER a meeting of the USSR bodybuilding organizers had happened. It was in the hotel of Leningrad. At this meeting participated DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, the USSR Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary, ALEKSANDRAS NOVIKOVAS, RAMUTIS KAIRAITIS (Both Officials of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation) and today‘s famous photo artist ALGIMANTAS ALEKSANDRAVICIUS and the best USSR bodybuilder at that time VIKTORAS JUCYS. Learned about the coming meeting of the DSc. EDMUDAS DAUBARAS with BEN WEIDER, the USSR Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary insisted that he is intending to come with him too. Then DSc.EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS refused as he did not wanted to have any problems with the USSR secret services. DSC. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS inumerated  „bad deals“ of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary that were done in previous years. That were through the USSR secret services (KGB) ruined in 1979 International contest the ”USSR versus Czechoslovakia” (documents are in the archives of the WFF-WBBF International), in 1988 ruined participation of a number of the best USSR bodybuilders at the World Championship in Australia. Also DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS reminded the prohibition of ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS to participate at the Georg Tenno Memorial in Estonia and other intrigues of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary. Then the USSR Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary started crying and knelt on the knees begging to forget those things.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
1991 “MR. URAL”.
BODYBUILDING TIMES OF CARPETS.
Before it started.
Time goes so fast and today in public often comes information which is far away from the truth. People who were not present at certain events are writing articles and books which are based on rumours. They pay no attention to the facts and opinion of the real participants of these events. For example, several years ago in Lithuania was issued a book “Lithuanian bodybuilding history” which carries facts that are not correct. Some time ago in Russia was issued a book about a famous Russia bodybuilder VLADIMIR DUBININ. For thirty  years VLADIMIR DUBININ  was the President of the National IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders)  Federation of  Russia. There are many not correct facts and interpretations on the history of the USSR bodybuilding in the book.
Today after thirty years in internet appeared false information about the 1991 International “Mr.Ural” contest. The information is published by a former Russian bodybuilder OLEG ANDREJEV (Олег Андреев). People start discussing the angry letter of an USSR official which he wrote on the background of rumours only.
Continuing our work on the unique International project of the “World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia” («Энциклопедия мирового культуризма», „Pasaulio kultūrizmo enciklopedija“)  in 2020 we plan to issue in various languages a book about the history of bodybuilding in the USSR. There will be many historical documents, authentic stories and pictures and the reader will have a chance to see the historic happenings on different angle.
1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest
The organizer of the 1990-1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest in Ural Ufa City was ALTAF GALEJEV. For a number of years ALTAF GALEJEV  used to come with Ufa bodybuilding team to the  officially recognized World’s oldest traditional bodybuilding contest “Amber Prix International” (1968-2019, “Gintarinis prizas”, «Янтарный приз»). Participating at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest contemporary President of the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and his wife were the invited personal guests of the organizer ALTAF GALEJEV.
Judges of the 1991 “Mr. Ural”.
Though at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” together with the USSR bodybuilders participated teams of Germany, Holland and USA – the judges were only of the USSR side. These judges in years were known one to another. To say more – these judges were trainers of the sportsmen, who participated at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest and their personal interest in the competition results was very plain and clear. Even more: Lithuanian Judge ARVYDAS MILVYDAS some time before started working as the director of Vilnius sport centre. He had possibilities to offer money to bodybuilders. So he did. ARVYDAS MILVYDAS offered money to a number of known bodybuilders who were for many years trained by a famous USSR trainer VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ. The bodybuilders of VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ without any hesitation left him and run to ARVYDAS MILVYDAS. Today when sport became totally commercial  it is nothing special about this, many athletes use to do this. But in the USSR of 1991 it was a single unfair happening on the moral side. Having no trainer’s experience before it ARVYDAS MILVYDAS appeared at “Mr. Ural” Competition in Ufa with his team of known bodybuilders.
Judging
After the calculation of the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest results the awards ceremony started. Among the usual traditional awards for the winners were the carpets. To understand the situation now we should explain the situation of life in the USSR. It is impossible to understand it easy for the contemporary people. Due to political situation for many years cars, carpets, spare parts for cars etc. were impossible to get in the USSR. Only the trade unions of the USSR were giving special licences for the best workers to buy these things. For German, Holland and USA participants of the 1991 “Mr. Ural” these carpets were of no value. But the representatives of the USSR looked upon this differently. For them the carpets were of great value.  A scandal started during the award ceremony. German, Holland and the USA representatives did not agree with the judging and they insisted to cancel the judging results.
It was a break at the contest announced. Then the contest organizer ALTAF GALEJEV  collected official representatives of Germany, Holland and USA for a special meeting. The only one at the competition knowing well the English and the German languages DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was present at the meeting too. The German team was led to Ufa by a famous National trainer of the German team. The team consisted of famous International athletes and among them AUREL HILLEBRAND – one of the winners of the 1991 Europe Championship. At the meeting the representatives spoke that “they came to a bodybuilding contest and not to the place of dividing carpets. Why ALTAF GALEJEV invited them to UFA if there is only the manipulation with carpets?” After the  discussion all of the representatives decided to change the results only in one category. They replaced Lithuanian OLEG ZUR with AUREL HILLEBRAND giving the first place to the German bodybuilder. Also OLEG ZUR had to give back to the German the carpets... AUREL HILLEBRAND  did not want to take the carpets saying he came to the bodybuilding competition and he does not need them. We would like to remind that later in 2004 Lithuanian OLEG ZUR was the over all IFBB World Champion in Moscow. By the way the 2004 IFBB World Championship was also full of intrigues. Any can find in various languages the historic documents, articles at the International Page www.wff.lt , read information on the main page and in the forum topics.
Scandal of carpets goes on.
Returned from 1991 “Mr. Ural” home the Lithuania bodybuilders were upset.  They told their story to the Secretary of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS. Hearing only one side and based only on words and rumours ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS wrote an angry letter to the President of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation VLADIMIR DUBININ. Then a special Congress of the USSR Bodybuilding Federation Council was announced. The Congress put punishment to the 1991 “Mr. Ural” organizer  ALTAF GALEJEV. Then ALTAF GALEJEV left the IFBB and started working with another International Federation.

2020. Celebrating more than fifty years of the WFF-WBBF International Activities and confronting the coming New Year of 2020 -  Congratulating Words of the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. Edmundas Daubaras.
Closing the year of the 2019 we want to thank all of You for the huge work that was done. We have been working much and achieved good positive results in 2019 again. Today the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International federation unites national organizations of 135 countries, that represent all Continents.
During the last fifty years of it‘s International activities, the WFF-WBBF presented the highest International Honour Sport Award – the International Honour Gold Medal. Among the World Sport VIP Persons this Award was presented to the President Parliament Austria Professor Alfred Gerstl, Slovakia Prime Minister Vladimir Meciar, Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico, the Mecenats Stefan Hrcka (Slovakia) and Jerzy Gotowski (Poland), Aleksandr Gridin (Lithuania), and the Hollywood Sport Personalities Aleksandr Nevsky (Russia-USA), Sylvester Stallone (USA), Ralf Moller (Germany-USA) and Chuck Norris (USA).
In 2019 at the old historic Lithuania Raudondvaris Castle the WFF-WBBF International awarded with the Honour Silver Medal the following V.I.P. Persons: SIGITAS PAULAUSKAS, Mecenat, Lithuania; ANDREJ BASOV, International Vice President WFF-WBBF, Russia; LALIT KUMAR SONI, International Vice President WFF-WBBF, India; DAINIUS DZIKEVICIUS, World Bodybuilding Legend, Lithuani;, VALERIJ KORESKOV, World Bodybuilding Legend, Lithuania; SVETLANA PUGACHEVA, Chairman International Technical Committee, Russia.
During the last period of time the new members were included to the International federation, such as Thailand, Nepal, Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Working Internationally many official and working visits were organized to various countries, such as India, Thailand, Malaysia, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia etc..
In 120 years of the World Sport History it was the first time when representing our sport the International President WFF-WBBF DSc. Edmundas Daubaras visited and worked at the Headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva (Switzerland).
Imagine – we organized 60 International Events World Wide! The Official Flag and the Official Himna of the WFF-WBBF International federation were presented at the most important World‘s Events. Especially important to the World‘s official sport were the our sport live history the 52-d „Amber Prix International“ (1968 - 2019, «Янтарный приз», «Gintarinis prizas“), the 30-th World Amateur and Professional Championships, the 20-th  „Universe“ and the 4-th BRICS Championship. In 2019 WFF-WBBF received permition to organize a WFF-WBBF Pro Event on Eiffel Tower in Paris (France). We will do our best to make it in 2020.
No one other International Organization, that represents our sport, can not be proud of so long history of it’s International activities. No one of them has so many Country - Members. No one organizes so many official International events. No one of other organizations seek developing of our sport on official level, but the WFF-WBBF. They even do not try to do this. To say more – today all International Federations have chosen the commercial way of their development and nearly all of them  are private commercial profit companies today, not sport federations.
Especially we were would like to underline tremendous work done by the WFF-WBBF  International VIP Officials Lalit Soni (India), Andrej Basov, Svetlana Pugacheva and Ksenija Skvorcova (all Russia), Edita Sendriene, Dainius Dzikevicius  and Vytautas Mikuckis (all Lithuania), Jorge Cedale (Argentina), Alloudin Bhatte (Pakistan), Tolga Murat Balikci (Turkey),  Alireza Rasa (Iran), Omid Ramez (Canada), Amirhossein Pourezzat (Malaysia),  Pibe Rodriguez (Paraguay), Gianni Almeida (Brazil), James Davidsom (South Africa), Angelina Romanovic (Latvia), Vasilij Bespalenko (Ukraine), Gvidon Alvantzian (Cyprus), Sergej Medvedev (Uzbekistan), Simo Bogdanoff (Finland), Dave Foster (UK), Leonor Hilario Greffel (Mozambique), Gvidon Alvantzian (Cyprus) and Oleg Akopov (Bulgaria), Wojciech Nadolski and Grazyna Korpan (both Poland) and many other our sport personalities.
The WFF-WBBF International goes on working on the unbelievable huge unique work – the “World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia” (“Pasaulinė kultūrizmo enciklopedija”, «Энциклопедия всемирного культуризма»).  It will be published in various languages. Until now nobody in the World ever dared to do such a tremendous project.
In 2016 under the initiative of the WFF-WBBF International the International Sport University (I.S.U., Tarptautinis sporto universitetas, Международный университет спорта; www.isuniversity.lt ) was established and registered in the European Union. Under the guidance of talanted administrators and scientists now it works succcessfully. In 2017 the ISU became the Associated member of the UNESCO organization at the UN (United Nations). Professor of four Universities Vasilij Bespalenko works  activelly at the International Sports University.
We work with various power sports over 50 years. In 2012 under the initiative of our representatives of Canada, India, Italy and Lithuania we established the WPSF (World Power Sports Federation).
Various International and National Social and Governmental Institutions notice huge efforts of the WFF-WBBF International. We were presenting and publishing  information on this many times. During the International Academic Conference in Lvov (Ukraine) the Rector of the International Sport University DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS received a high award. The Rector of the historically oldest Ukraine Stavropigion University Professor DSc. YAROSLAV KMIT awarded DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS for his huge International social activities with the highest University Award – the „ORDER OF MERIT“. Not long ago the same Order was presented to Kijev and Ukraine Patriarch Filaret (Патриарх Киевский и всея  Украины Филарет).
Some time ago the Chairman Parliament Republic Slovakia Mgr. Art. Andrej Hrciar sent his congratulating words to the WFF-WBBF International and also he awarded the International President DSc. Edmundas Daubaras with the Honour Award of the Parliament Republic Slovakia. After several years we would like to remember that in 2012 in Vatican through His personal letter the Roman Pope Benedictus XVI (Benedetto XVI)  blessed the WFF-WBBF International activities.
Representing World‘s Fitness and Bodybuilding Sport the WFF-International and the WBBF-International are the only ones World Wide Officially Registered International Non Profit Sport Organizations that work well for our sport so long time. New ideas and tremendous work done for the International Sport make the WFF and WBBF to be the today’s International Leaders in Bodybuilding and Fitness World Wide. We mean the Official Level. The WFF and WBBF do not live yesterday’s life. We have lots of  new Global Bodybuilding Projects ahead.
HEALTH, SUCCESS, LUCK AND HAPPINESS IN 2020!!!
God bless all of us in our sincere pray!

2020. GRAEME LANCEFIELD TELLS LIES AGAIN.
UNINTELLIGENCE OF GRAEME LANCEFIELD SURPRISES THE BODYBUILDING WORLD.
Today the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International Headquarters received several letters and calls  from a famous UK Bodybuilder and a NABBA (National Amateur Body Building Assocoation)  Chairman EDDIE ELWOOD:
Hi, Edmundas,
as you know Graeme Lancefield is in competition with your own WFF. I want the truth be known. Daniel his son is claiming the WFF history as theirs. And I know the history you told me is yours from a show called the Amber Prix. Would you mind if you would Please Comment on my post saying you run the WFF and the 1968 history Graeme Lancefield and his WFF have stolen off you and is in fact history from a show you have ran since 1968 called the Amber prix and WFF was formed in the mid 90s with yourself and Klaus Hoffman This will clarify the birth of the WFF and help us both.
Thank you,
Eddy Ellwood

LIES ABOUT WFF HISTORY AND USING OUR PATENTED NAMES WILL LEAD GRAEME LANCEFIELD AND HIS ASSISTANTS TO COURT.
Working from 1968, today WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International is evident International Bodybuilding Leader. The WFF-WBBF unites National Organizations from 135 Countries, that represent all Continents. Every year WFF-WBBF organizes 60 International Events in various Countries. WFF-WBBF International Work is seen by various International Institutions. During the activities the WFF-WBBF International  received State Awards from Governments of various Countries. State Vatican as well (2011).
At the 49-th „Amber Prix International“ (2016) among present several Members of the Parliament Republic Lithuania the Official Representative of the Prime Minister Republic Lithuania ANTANAS VINKUS announced the congratulating words to the WFF-WBBF International and named the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS being „the Embassador Republic Lithuania in the World Countries“.
In 2016 WFF-WBBF International initiated registration of  the International Sport University (ISU). In 2012 the WFF-WBBF in various languages started unique global work – the World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia. The Encyclopedia covers information from 1898 until now and reflects the history and statistics of all traditional International Federations and important International Sportsmen and Organizers.
WEAK PERSONS ARE TO LEAVE WFF-WBBF.
We will not go into details of the WFF history. We has spoken about it widelly before. During the fivety years of the International work the WFF left a number of false persons. Some of them were from Lithuania and twenty years ago they had to leave the WFF-International due to the intriques and jealousy. Then they unsuccessfully tried to work with IFBB Lithuania and after joined the Intternational Federation of Homosexual Bodybuilders. Some of them were from Latvia and ten years ago they had to leave the WFF-International when being drunk during the WFF contest in front of the Major City Prague (Czech) behaved awfully and made problems for the WFF federation. Also the Latvians was the reason when a number of athletes had to go to hospital under surgery operation due the false „supplements“ the mentioned Latvians were producing and selling to the sportsmen (we have documents about this). These presonalities never did any strategic International work, they have never did anything sufficient Internationally during their lives. They were only the observers to the Global historic work that was done by other persons. It seems like a humour when now these persons try to make false WFF-International history and try to present it in public.
GRAEME LANCEFIELD TELLS AWFULL LIES.
We have been publishing many times the history of the WFF-International and WBBF-International federations.
Graeme Laqnciefield  is only 2-3 years in International Sport. We know, that Graeme Lancefield does not know many historical things of our sport. Basing on the false public information of Graeme Laqnciefield today a number of persons republish false materials of Graeme Lanciefield.
Does Graeme Lanciefield know what is it „1968“???
Does Graeme Lanciefield ever heard of the WFF federation in Germany before 1996???
Does Graeme Lanciefield know that «his WFF“ egzisted in Germany only from 2005 until 2013?
We think that for publishing false information Graeme Lancefield could stand in front of Court one day. Court of any Country will find the truth easy and the liar will be punnished according the Law.
LIES ABOUT WFF HISTORY AND USING OUR PATENTED NAMES WILL LEAD GRAEME LANCEFIELD AND HIS ASSISTANTS TO COURT.
It is already some time when the mentioned telltalers and loosers try to make false WFF-International history. They try to use illegally our patented names like WFF, World Fitness Federation, „Amber Prix International“, etc. Some years ago they did it too, but then we warned them about our addressing to the Court to clear the matter then they appologized in public about their illegal actions.
Gaeme Lancefield plans some contests in Lithuania and other countries in 2017. Using our patented names will lead Graeme Lancefield and his assistants to Court. Maybe through this Civil Court Prosecution Graeme Lancefield wants to sponsor the WFF-WBBF Federation???
KNOWN INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING PERSONS SAY THAT PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT WFF.
Here we present some sayings about the WFF of a number of Internationally well known Bodybuilding Presons.
1.     KLAUS P.J.HOFFMANN (in 1995 KLAUS P.J.HOFFMANN  together with DSC. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  established the WFF-International):
„You are one of the most interesting and intelligent personalities I learned to know in my life...
That‘s You!
I never gave compliments normally but You are a great fighter for You, Your family, ideas for Lithuania and maybe Europe“ (the original letter of 2004 is attached to this article).
2.     EDDIE ROBINSON (contemporary President NABBA-WFF USA, famous USA Pro Bodybuilder):
„Thank you Mr. DSc Edmundas Daubaras truth needs to be known!! We all know you are WFF!! And are sick of all the fabricated lie bull shit!!“.
„Wishing you continued success WFF Mr. DSc Edmundas Daubaras International President“.
„Much Respect to you Mr. DSc Edmundas Daubaras as I wish you nothing but The Best! Thank you for confirming the truth as the information was taken of your WFF International page per the true history of facts per the WFF, Amber Prix, Figure World Grand Prix and the forming of WFF Project“.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
PERIODS OF BODYBUILDING DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIALIST COUNTRIES
BODYBUILDING IN SOCIALIST WORLD. HISTORIC BOOK.
In the last period of tome International sport society started to be interested in the history of our sport. Some time ago the World learned about the first fitness athlete from the USA BRONE DUBAR (New York, 1927). The World learned about the various International Sport Organizations. Today a number of historical books and articles are published. Many of them are presenting not full and often incorrect information.
Until now nobody did a thorough analysis of our sport history and nobody ever underlined important facts for all World bodybuilding history.
In 2020 working more than fifty years the WFF-WBBF International (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  is planning to publish in various languages a historical book on the Bodybuilding in Socialist Countries. Remember – the Socialist World united half of the World Countries. It was living a separate individual life that was much different from the “Western” World. This book will be a part of our unique International project – the “World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia”.
PREPARED IN LITHUANIA, PRINTED IN INDIA.
The historical book on the Bodybuilding in Socialist Countries will be prepared in Lithuania and printed in India. At this work the I.S.U. International Sports University (www.isuniversity.lt ) is involved very much now. Since 2017 I.S.U. is associated member of the UNESCO at the United Nations (UN). Professors VASILIJ BESPALENKO (Ukraine), LALIT KUMAR SONI (India) and DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and World Bodybuilding Pioneer VALERIJ KORESKOV (Lithuania) are working in the project very much.
PERIODS OF BODYBUILDING DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIALIST COUNTRIES
Basing on the political situation the development of bodybuilding in the socialist countries can be divided in the folowing periods:
-          The First Period, 1958-1970
-          The Second Period, 1971-1975
-          The Third Period, 1976-1981
-          The Fourth Period, 1982-1986
-          The Fifth Period, 1987-1991
THE FIRST PERIOD
Bodybuilding in the socialist countries started at the second part of fifties of the last century. It appeared suddenly and at once became very popular. At that time a man went to cosmoss, a man went deep into the oceans. It seemed that there are no any obstacles at all. Many of people wanted to develop and change their bodies.
There was no any leadership in the socialist bodybuilding at that time.  It was the time of great popularization of bodybuilding. One of the bodybuilding pioneers in the USSR VALERIJ KORESKOV (Vilnius, Lithuania) underlines that he  started bodybuilding training in 1958. The training process was primityve, athletes needed knowlidge. From time to time contests were organized. Every time the judging criteria was different. First information about bodybuilding, famous athletes and some methods of training reached the USSR through bodybuilding magazines „Health and Strength“ and „Iron Man“ (both UK), through „Muscle Builder“(USA) and through “Sport dla Wszystkich“ (Poland).
It were Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary to start bodybuilding in the socialist countries. Bodybuilders of these countries organized local competitons and sometimes competed in between. New famous names appeared such as 1967 Czechoslovakia Champion  JURAJ VYSNY.
First to visit the mentioned countries from the USSR were the Lithuanians. In 1968 Lithuania Kaunas „Azuolas Gym“ bodybuilders  went to Warszawa to compete with „Herkules Gym“ athletes. Lithuanians were led by VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS and Polich team by EUGENIUSZ PAWLOK.
Also in 1968 the first in the USSR International Contest was organized. It was held in Lithuania Kaunas City and national teams of Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia participated there. The competiton lasted two days and six thousand spectators filled the biggest hall of the city. Then the over all Champion was LEONAS PIVORIUNAS (Vilnius, Lithuania).
After that the first „Amber Prix International“ (1968, „Gintarinis prizas“,  «Янтарный приз») contest was held in Lithuanian Klaipeda. Again the over all Champion was LEONAS PIVORIUNAS.
Every day bodybuilding became more stronger and more popular. More competitoons were organized and new names came in public. It needed to have definite leadership to give some order for the movement.  During the 1968 contest in Kaunas the „USSR Social Bodybuilding Committee“ («Общественный комитет по атлетической гимнастике СССР») was established. The positions of it‘s members were the folowing:
EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
1.     ROMAN MOROZ, Moscow, Russia
2.     VLADIMIR PETROV, Moscow, Russia
3.     GENADIJ BALDIN, Moscow, Russia
4.     VYTAUTAS ZUMERIS, Vilnius, Lithuania
5.     VALERIJ KOREŠKOV, Vilnius, Lithuania.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Along with the Executive Council a number of Committee Members were ellected:
6.     FIODOR MANKO, Leningrad, Russia
7.     ELEONORA VOLOKONCEVA, Leningrad, Russia
8.     VALERIJ SEMIONOV, Tiumen, Russia
9.     VLADIMIR DURNENKO, Omsk, Russia
10.EMANUILAS BEZMOZGIS, Riga, Latvia
11.ERVIN LIBERT, Tallin, Estonia.
Then it was a calm and productive period of the USSR bodybuilding. It came as a tradition and in 1969-1970 the „Amber Prix International“ contests were organized in Klaipeda.  Suddenly due to political reasons in 1971 the bodybuilding activities in the USSR and other socialist countries were stopped. For many years the Communist regime prohibited and prosecuted the bodybuilding.
