WORLD BODYBUILDING WAS LED BY WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION.
THEY WERE THE FIRST.
Under the efforts of the American „Father of Weightlifting“ BOB HOFFMAN bodybuilding was brought to the Socialist Countries by the World Weightlifting Federation (F.I.H.C.). This happened in 1959 when F.I.H.C. organized the World Weightlifting Championship in the capital of the Polish Democratic Republic Warszawa. In 1947 F.I.H.C. decided to lead the World Bodybuilding Sport and since that time organized World Weightlifting Championships together with the bodybuilding „Universe“ contest. In 1959 this happened in Poland too.
Under the pressure of the F.I.H.C. and under the tradition the U.S.S.R. Sport Ministry (Goskomsport) set the Bodybuilding Organization that was ruled by the U.S.S.R. Weightlifting Federation. Then this organization was not successful as there were no bodybuilders in the U.S.S.R. at that time.
THEY WERE THE FIRST IN RUSSIA.
First bodybuilders in the U.S.S.R. were weightlifters: ROMAN MOROZ (Роман Мороз), GENNADIJ BALDIN (Геннадий Балдин), the first U.S.S.R. World Weightlifting Champion GRIGORIJ NOVAK (Григорий Новак, 1946), GEROG TENNO (Георг Тенно), IGOR PETRUCHIN (Игорь Петрухин) and MARK SHAFRAN (Марк Шафран). The first Bodybuilding contest was organized in Moscow (Russia). Right after this the International Contest was organized in Vilnius (Lithuania). This was the first International Contest in the all Socialist Countries. Most of the above mentioned persons took part at the contest in Vilnius.

ROMAN MOROZ.

That was the World Weightlifting Championship in Warszawa - the Capital of the Polish Democratic Republic. Then F.I.H.C. organized the bodybuilding „Mr. Universe“ in Warszawa too.

In 1963 under the influence of BOB HOFFMAN the first International Bodybuilding Organization in the Socialist Countries (Всесоюзная комиссия по атлетической гимнастике) was established by the Ministry of Sport U.S.S.R.. it was set at the U.S.S.R. Weightlifting Federation then. To control the bodybuilding sport the Ministry appointed the Chairman of this organization. That was a friend of BOB HOFFMAN a known  U.S.S.R. wightlifting authority ROMAN MOROZ. The mentioned organization did not work as there were no bodybuilders in the U.S.S.R. at that time.
It was nothing special when a bodybuilding organization was established at the weightlifting federation of any country. International Weightlifting Federation F.I.H.C. since 1947 rulled the official World Bodybuilding. F.I.H.C. and A.A.U. were members of the Inetnational Olympic Commitee. In fact using the positions in F.I.H.C. and A.A.U. the official World and U.S.A. bodybuilding sport was rulled by BOB HOFFMAN. Until 1969 no one could fight with BOB HOFFMAN when he had the I.O.C. members F.I.H.C. and A.A.U. behind.
Later in 1968 the mentioned International Bodybuilding Organization of the Socialist Countries was renewed. It happened during an International Contest in Lithuania. Among the five members of the Executive Council the Chairmen was ellected the same Russian ROMAN MOROZ.

PROHIBITION OF BODYBUILDING.
In 1973 the prosecution and prohibition of bodybuilding started in the Socialist World. Every country went it‘s own original way. In some countries contests were still organized with huge difficulties. First of all in Czechoslovakia. The National Champion of Czechoslovakia in 1973 was LADISLAV KLERI, MILAN POLELKA was at the second place and JAN CERNY was at the third place.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
TWO U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
THE BEGINNING.
First pioneers of bodybuilding in Russia were weightlifters MARK SHAFRAN (Марк Шафран), ROMAN MOROZ (Роман Мороз), the first in the Socialist Countries World Weightlifting Champion GRIGORIJ NOVAK (Григорий Новак), Estonian GEORG TENNO  and GENADIJ BALDIN (Геннадий Балдин).
1966. FIRST SOCIALIST INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.
In 1966 a bodybuilding contest was organized in Moscow (Russia) where the winner was IGOR PETRUCHIN (Игорь Петрухин). Also in 1966 the first in the Socialist Countries International Bodybuilding competition was organized in Vilnius (Lithuania). The Winners were IGOR PETRUCHIN (Russia), RYTIS MACIJAUSKAS and KLEMENSAS ALSHAUSKAS (both Lithuania); second places won Russian GENADIJ BALDIN, Lithuanians CESLAV TAMULEVICH (Чеслав Тамулевич) and ANATOLIJ PRIC (Анатолий Приц); third places went to Russian MARK SHAFRAN and Lithuanians RIMANTAS ZUJUS and ALGIMANTAS RAMANAUSKAS.
TRADITIONAL BODYBUILDING CONTESTS.
During the bodybuilding prohibition in the Socialist World (1973 – 1987) only few brave persons dared to organize competitions. There were only two regular International Bodybuilding Contests in all Socialist World: the „Amber Prix International“ (1968 – 2021, „Gintarinis prizas“, «Янтарный приз») organized in Lithuania by DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and „Georg Tenno Memorial“ (1971 – 1989, «Мемориал Георга Тэнно») organized in Estonia by INNAR MARDO.
TWO OFFICIAL U.S.S.R. CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Just before the prohibition and prosecution of bodybuilding in the Socialist World the 1971 and 1972 U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Championships  („Чемпионат С.С.С.Р.“) were held. We would like to remind that since 1947 until 1969 the World‘s Official Bodybuilding was ruled by the International Weightlifting Federation F.I.H.C.. F.I.H.C. was a member of the International Olympic Committee. All bodybuilding contests were of two parts: the power exercises and posing. In the Socialist Countries this tradition remained during all years of the prohibition of bodybuilding. Prosecuted by Governments and press bodybuilder were hiding themselves behind the power exercises.

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS.
WORLD BODYBUILDING ENCYCLOPEDIA.
Today the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  International unites 140 Country – Members and organizes nearly 60 annual Amateur and Professional International Events World Wide. Looking from the juridical point of view the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International is no doubt the Real World Bodybuilding Leader.
Crowning it‘s 50 years of  International Bodybuilding activities, the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F.  works on the Unique Global International Bodybuilding Project -  the „World Bodybuilding  Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедия всемирного культуризма», “Pasaulio kultūrizmo enciklopedija”).
There will be four books of the Encyclopedia. The first book will cover period of time from the old times to 1973. There will be hundreds of sport biographies of the important International Persons.  One of them is Lithuanian ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS (1947-1998).
ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS – NEGATIVE BODYBUILDING HEROE.
As a bodybuilding organizer ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS started working in 1973. Then during the meeting in Kaunas city he organized the overthrow of the President National Bodybuilding Federation of Lithuania JUOZAS JUSEVICHUS. JUOZAS JUSEVICHUS was one of the bodybuilding pioneers in the U.S.S.R. and Lithuania.
1979. RUINED INTERNATIONAL CONTEST „U.S.S.R. – CZECHOSLOVAKIA“.
During the time of the political prohibition and prosecution of bodybuilding sport in the Socialist Countries still some contests we managed to do with great efforts. In 1979 ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS ruined the International Contest „U.S.S.R. – Czechoslovakia“. This competition was prepared by DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and a number of the Bodybuilding Chairmen of  Czechoslovakia – the President of the National Federation VOJTECH FIALA and his assistants FRANTISHEK BULVA and IVAN MACH. This would be the first time when the U.S.S.R. bodybuilders will cross the U.S.S.R. country boarder that was closed due to the above mentioned bodybuilding prohibition.
After the first visit of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to Czechoslovakia, their bodybuilding Chairmen addressed GENADIJ BALDIN (Геннадий Балдин) in Moscow. GENADIJ BALDIN was one of the five Chairmen of the in 1968 established U.S.S.R. bodybuilding federation which stopped working in 1973 after bodybuildin prohibition. GENADIJ BALDIN answered the Czechslovakians that he left bodybuilding activities. He wrote that there are several still working bodybuilding organizers in Baltic countries whom they can contact easily. Only they dared to go on working during the years of prohibition of bodybuilding (letters were presented to us by another one of the five Chairmen of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding federation VALERIJ KORESHKOV (Валерий Корешков) and now they are kept in the archieves of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International).
The preparation for the contest „U.S.S.R. – Czechoslovakia“ took four years. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS visited Czechoslovakia in 1975 and 1977. A number of meeings with Czechoslovakia bodybuilding leaders were made. Also he met famous trainers and bodybuilders there. The intensive correspondence was done as well. The U.S.S.R. bodybuilders needed visas to reach another countries. Finally the needed official documents from Czechoslovakia reached DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS had nothing to do with the competition „U.S.S.R. – Czechoslovakia“ and he was not included to the delegation to Czechoslovakia. That was the reason that ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS started his intrugues and ruined the visit.
DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS always was in touch with many World Bodybuilding Leaders. In 1978 he visited Varzszawa „Herkules“ (Poland) bodybuilding gym. Polish organizers planned to make an International Contest in 1979.  They gave DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS official invitiation for the U.S.S.R. team to participate at the event. After the above mentioned intriques of ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS  DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS did not visit the Polish contest himself. He gave the official invitation to Poland to Estonia Bodybuilding Chairman INNAR MARDO. INNAR MARDO took the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilder Estonian OLEV ANNUS to Poland and he became the Over All Champion there (documents about all mentioned events are kept at the archieves of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International).
1979. REMEIKA WAS FIRST BODYBUILDER PROSECUTED BY KALINAUSKAS.
In 1979 over 120 kilograms weighing successful Lithuanian bodybuilder from Klaipeda City  ALBERTAS REMEIKA was preparing to participate at the „Georg Tenno Memorial“ in Estonia. He just finished successful participations at the „Amber Prix Interbational“ and a contest in Kaunas City. Due to the fights inside National Lithuania bodybuilding federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS addressed the President of Estonia bodybuilding federation INNAR MARDO and forced him to prohibit participation at the „Georg Tenno Memorial“  of ALBERTAS REMEIKA. So INNAR MARDO did as ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS asked.
1981. OLEV ANNUS LOST A CONTEST DUE TO POLITICAL REASONS.
In 1981 in Lithuanian Klaipeda City was held the most important U.S.S.R. bodybuilding contest of the year – the „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis Prizas“, „Янтарный приз»). During this contest the General Secretary of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS organized the defeat of OLEV ANNUS. The political powers of the U.S.S.R. knew that OLEV ANNUS was on the way to emigrante to Finland and they did not like this. How it could happen that the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilder runs away from the country? The defeat of OLEV ANNUS was organized through ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS. Before the competition ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS gathered the judges and strictly informed them the „how to judge“.  OLEV ANNUS lost his win to another athlete. After the 1981  „Amber Prix International“ competition OLEV ANNUS protested and wrote letters to the bodybuilding magazines of various countries, but it changed nothing. Defeat is defeat...
INTRIQUES WITH GUSEV AND BUCHINSKAS.
Due to the fights with ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS inside Lithuania bodybuilding organization the Champion of the „Amber Prix International“ JURIJ GUSEV (Юрий Гусев) and his trainer were planing to participate in Estonia at the International „Georg Tenno Memorial“ („Мемориал Георга Тенно», „Georgo Tenno Memorialas“) on their own. Then ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS took efforts to prohibit the participation of JURIJ GUSEV. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS spoke with the Estonia Bodybuilding Chairman INNAR MARDO (1946-2002 г., Иннар Мардо, Inaras Mardo) and received his official permition for JURIJ GUSEV to participate. After this JURIJ GUSEV participated at the „Georg Tenno Memorial“ and became the Junior Over All Champion.
Exactly the same situation happened with another Champion of the „Amber Prix International“ Lithuanian  ROLANDAS BUCHINSKAS. Again ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS prohibited him to participate in Estonia. Again DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS spoke with  INNAR MARDO and received his permition for ROLANDAS BUCHINSKAS to participate. Again ROLANDAS BUCHISKAS became the Junior Over All Champion of the „Georg Tenno Memorial“.
1981. KALINAUSKAS SUPPORTS OVERTHROW IN ESTONIA BODYBUILDING.
Multiple intriques done by the enemies inside the National Estonia bodybuilding federation made Estonia bodybuilding leader  INNAR MARDO to leave the federation. By the way, Lithuanians were not very happy of the strong Estonia bodybuilding and helped the enemies of INNAR MARDO in their dirty works. The Lithuanians were led by ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS and some officials from Kaunas City. Especially big fight against INNAR MARDO was right after the tenth „Georg Tenno Memorial“. But after this happening no one Estonia bodybuilding organizer ever reached the highness of the work done by INNAR MARDO.
1988. INTRIQUES STOPPED PARTICIPATION AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN AUSTRALIA.
In 1988 history with the intriques of  ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS was repeated. In 1987 the Official U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation was established. Due to the efforts of the famous weightlifting Olympic Champion JURIJ VLASOV (Юрий Власов) the federation was recognized by the U.S.S.R. Ministry of Sport (Goskomsport; Госкомспорт С.С.С.Р.). According to the rules all category winners of the first Official U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Cup were included to the National Team to participate at the 1988 World Championship in Australia. Among the champions were two Lithuanians: VIKTORAS JUCYS  (Over All Champion) and category winner  SAULIUS MISEVICHUS. As before the General Secretary of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS was not included to the delegation which participated in  Australia. For this reason ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS did not give the passports for VIKTORAS JUCYS  and SAULIUS MISEVICIUS. Both of them worked on preperation for several months and finally at the airport did not receive passports and could not leave to the World Championship.
ON THE KNEES U.S.S.R. BODYBUILDING FEDERATION GENERAL SECRETARY.
Just before the meeting of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and the President of the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) federation BEN WEIDER a meeting of a number of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding organizers had happened. It was in a hotel of Leningrad (now St. Peterburg). At this meeting participated DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation General Secretary ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS, ALEKSANDRAS NOVIKOVAS, RAMUTIS KAIRAITIS (both Officials of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation) and bodybuilding organizer and today‘s famous Lithuania photo artist ALGIMANTAS ALEKSANDRAVICIUS and the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilder at that time VIKTORAS JUCYS. Learned about the coming meeting of DSc. EDMUDAS DAUBARAS with BEN WEIDER, ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS insisted that he is intending to come with him too. Then DSc.EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS refused to take him as he did not want to have any problems from ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS with the U.S.S.R. secret services. During the meeting at the Leningrad hotel DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS listed  „bad deals“ of the ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS that he did in previous years. Main “bad deals” were as follows: in 1979 ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS ruined International contest ”U.S.S.R. versus Czechoslovakia” and  in 1988 he ruined participation of a number of the best U.S.S.R. bodybuilders at the World Championship in Australia. Also DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS reminded the prohibition of JURIJ GUSEV and ROLANDAS BUCINSKAS to participate at the “Georg Tenno Memorial” competitions in Estonia and some other intrigues of ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS. Then in front of all participants of the meeting ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS accepted his fault and started crying and knelt on the knees begging to forget those things.

DMITRIJ IVANOV
Russia weightlifter, World and Europe Champion, multiple U.S.S.R. Champion, writer and journalist DMITRIJ IVANOV (Дмитрий Иванов, 1928 – 1993) was one of the initiators of the prohibition and of the prosecution of bodybuilding in the U.S.S.R.. His negatyve articles in press about bodybuilding much caused the prohibition since 1973 until 1987. As told by one of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding pioneers GENADIJ BALDIN (Геннадий Балдин) the petition of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to defend bodybuilding caused many problems to DMITRIJ IVANOV. Then DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS by great risk personally brought this petition to Moscow to the U.S.S.R. Communist Part Headquarters (ЦК КПСС. C.C.C.P.). The prosecution of bodybuilding in the Socialist World started right after the International Weightlifting Federation F.I.H.C. stopped leading International bodybuilding in 1969. We would like to underline that F.I.H.C. led the official Bodybuilding sport since 1947.

N.A.B.B.A. IS TELLING LIES OR IT DOES NOT KNOW IT’S OWN HISTORY?
“WORLD BODYBUILDING ENCYCLOPEDIA”.
Contemporary N.A.B.B.A. (National Amateur Body Building Association) history writer SI SWEENEY in his articles even does not mention the real first “Mr. Universe” contest. Also he writes incorrect information about the second “Mr. Universe” competition.
The same do writers who write about the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) history. These they underline that there was nothing before the WEIDER brothers JOE and BEN I.F.B.B. Commercial Company. They neglect the previous BOB HOFFMAN’s “Bodybuilding Empire” which WEIDER brothers copied from beginning to the very end.
Many people want to rise themselves and they create unreal stories. Next followers use their creations and go on developing them.

It was a tradition of F.I.H. not to organize World Weightlifting Championship in “Olympic” years. What to do with the second F.I.H. bodybuilding „Mr. Universe“ comprtition? Then the idea to organize the F.I.H. bodybuilding “Mr. Universe” during the 1948 “Olympic Games” struck BOB HOFFMAN. There were real ways because F.I.H. was a member of the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.). BOB HOFFMAN addressed British OSCAR STATE who was the President of B.A.W.L.A. (British Amateur Weight Lifting Association) to assist him. At the same time B.A.W.L.A. asked the Chairmen of the British Bodybuilding “Health and Strength” Magazine to assist them too. Through F.I.H. departments in various countries B.A.W.L.A. invited athletes to the contest in London. At the same time BOB HOFFMAN brought USA bodybuilders to compete. There were 1800 spectators at the second F.I.H. “Mr. Universe” in London. All money profit of the competition went to B.A.W.L.A.. After several preliminary rounds the finalists were ANDRE DRAPP (France) and Americans JOHN GRIMEK and STEVE REEVES. JOHN GRIMEK was proclaimed the Over All Winner of the second F.I.H. “Mr. Universe”. STEVE REEVES spoke on microphone saying that “John Grimek is the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived“.

They neglect the previous BOB HOFFMAN’s (Robert Collins Hoffman, 1898 - 1985 m.) “Bodybuilding Empire” which WEIDER brothers copied from beginning to the very end.
Many people want to rise themselves and they create unreal stories. Next followers use their creations and go on developing them.
1947. FIRST “MR. UNIVERSE” CONTEST.
The first real “Bodybuilding Empire” was created through the A.A.U. (Amateur Athletic Union)  in the USA by American BOBO HOFFMAN. In real A.A.U. united USA National Federations and it was the Ministry of Sport in the USA. They use to call BOBO HOFFMAN “the father of America Weightlifting”. A.A.U. since 1939 was organizing USA bodybuilding “Mr. America” contests. BOB HOFFMAN wanted to make bodybuilding an official recognized sport through A.A.U. and F.I.H. (Federation Internationale Halterophile). USA weightlifting though A.A.U. was a member of the International Weightlifting Federation F.I.H. Later F.I.H. name was changed to F.I.H.C. (F.I.H.C., Federation Internationale Halterophile et Culturisme) when F.I.H. started ruling World’s bodybuilding sport. BOB HOFFMAN decided to do the same with bodybuilding.
In 1947 F.I.H. organized the World Weightlifting Championship and International Congress in Philadelphia (USA). Under the efforts of BOB HOFFMAN the International Congress decided to lead and control World’s bodybuilding on official level. It was immediately decided to organize the first in Sport’s History International Bodybuilding “Mr. Universe” contest alongside with the F.I.H. World Weightlifting Championship in Philadelphia. Then the Over All “Mr. Universe” Champion was a pupil of BOB HOFFMAN a famous America weightlifter STEVE STANKO. That was a Historical Happening and STEVE STANKO became a Historical Person.
1948. SECOND “MR. UNIVERSE’ IN LONDON.
1950. FIRST N.A.B.B.A. “MR. UNIVERSE”.
In 1950 under the efforts of the Chairmen of “Health and Strength” Magazine N.A.B.B.A. association was created in the Great Britain. As the former N.A.B.B.A. President  IVAN DUNBAR told us – N.A.B.B.A. Association was juridically registered as a „Public Club“. In 1950 N.A.B.B.A. organized the first “Mr. Universe” in London. The Over All Champion was STEVE REEVES (USA). At the same time a member of the International Olympic Committee F.I.H.C. went on organizing it’s own “Mr. Universe” contest. Comparing with N.A.B.B.A. “Mr. Universe” F.I.H.C. competitions were the official ones. For the two decades no one could confront F.I.H.C. as the official Bodybuilding Sport was under F.I.H.C. control. Even the Commercial I.F.B.B. Company of the WEIDER  brothers JOE and BEN could not imagine to think being equal to F.I.H.C..

1971 INTERNATIONAL CONTEST, KAUNAS, LITHUANIA
THE BEGINNING.
F.I.H.C. (Federation Internationale Halterophile et Culturisme) organized World Weightlifting Championship and annual traditional International Bodybuilding „Mr. Universe“ contest in 1959 in Warszawa (Capital of the Polish People‘s Demokratic Republic). People of the Socialist World first time saw „Western“ bodybuilders live. That was done due to the efforts of BOB HOFFMAN who was called „The Father of USA Weightlifting“.  The Over All Winner of the „Mr. Universe“ was GUY MIERCZUK (France).
In 1966 F.I.H.C. organized World Weightlifting Championship and Bodybuilding „Mr. Universe“ contest in another Socialist Country again. This time it was East Berlin – capital City of the D.D.R. (German Democratic Republic). The Over All Winner of the „Mr. Universe“ was BOB GAJDA (USA).
F.I.H.C. was a member of the I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee). The activities of F.I.H.C. bodybuilding influenced Sport Ministries of the Socialist Countries. First of all it was the U.S.S.R. Ministry of Sport (Goskomsport, Госкомспорт С.С.С.Р.).
Soon a number of National and International competitions were organized in the Socialist World.
The first International Bodybuilding Contest was organized in 1966 in Vilnius (Lithuania Socialist Republic). In 1968 in Kaunas (Lithuania) was organized another International competition. Right after it in 1968 the historic traditional bodybuilding „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз») was organized in Klaipeda (Lithuania). „Amber Prix“ is organized until now.
1971. IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL EVENT.
In 1971 an International Bodybuilding Contest was organized in Kaunas (Lithuania). Bodybuilders of six Socialist Countries participated at the event: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine and Czechoslovakia.
According the old F.I.H.C. traditions all bodybuilding competitions in the Socialist Countries were of two parts: the power one and the free posing. Junior and Senior Groups were divided into three Hight Categories.
Senior Group results:
In the Short Category the Winner was VINCAS DUBICKAS. The second place went to JULIUS GRIZHE and the third to JURAS JANCIAUSKAS (all three competitors were from Lithuania).
In the Middle Category the Winner was VIKTOR CHARKEVICH (Виктор Харкевич).  The second place went to KONSTANTIN BELIKOV (Константин Беликов) and the third one to DALIUS PODERIS  (all three competitors were from Lithuania).
In the High Category the Winner was VLADIMIR DUBININ (Владимир Дубинин), at the second place was ALEKSANDR LEMECHOV (Александр Лемехов). Both competitors were from Russia). At the third place was VIACESLAV FEDORENKO (Вячеслав Федоренко) from Lithuania.
Junior Group results:
In the Short Category the Winner was KAZYS DAUGELA, the second was EUGENE GORELIK (Евгений Горелик) and the third STASYS ALISHAUSKAS.
In the Middle Category the Winner was ARVYDAS MISIURA, the second was VLADAS KAPCEVICHUS and the third was GEDIMINAS BRAZDZIUNAS.
In the High Category the Winner was VALDAS ALIUBAVICHUS, the second was KESTUTIS MACKEVICHUS and the third was ROBERTAS MARTUSEVICHUS.
All top three Junior bodybuilders in all Categories were from Lithuania.
Czechoslovakia was represented by ALEKSANDR BACHINSKY, LADISLAV KLERI, MARIAN JURASH and JAROSLAV SHALNA.
Prominent Lithuania bodybuilders JULIUS GRIEZHE, JURAS JANCAUSKAS, VIKTOR CHARKEVICH, KONSTANTIN BELIKOV, VIACESLAV FEDORENKO, EUGENE GORELIK, ARVYDAS MISIURA, GEDIMINAS BRAZDZIUNAS, VLADAS ALIUBAVICHUS were representing famous „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ that was led by a talanted trainer CESLAV TAMULEVICH (Чеслав Тамулевич). „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ was the only one of this kind in the bodybuilding history of Socialist Countries. In 2020 CESLAV TAMULEVICH with great respect was awarded with the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Silver Honour Medal“.

AFTER  70 YEARS WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY WAS REPEATED.
1927 BRONE DAUBARAITE AND 1997 EDITA DAUBARAITE.
International sport society knows very well about the U.S.A. sportsman BRONE DAUBARAITE (Broné “Brownie” Dubar, 1906-1986 m.). Emigrated from Lithuania before the First World War she was the World’s First Fitness Athlete. At that time there was no bodybuilding and fitness sport and BRONE DAUBARAITE did not participate at the competitions. As many athletes and strongmen of her time she travelled though the World Countries and demonstrated her unique sport programs.
„EUROSPORT“ REPORTS ABOUT OVER ALL WORLD CHAMPION.
After seventy years in 1997 Lithuanian gymnastic athlete EDITA DAUBARAITE repeated her grandmother’s BORNE DAUBARAITE achievements. She became the over all World Fitness Champion. That was the first time when a representative from the previous socialist world won such a title. The event was televised by “Eurosport” television several times. Then “Eurosport” spoke much about the EDITA’S gymnastic abilities and International press wrote much about the Lithuanian sportsman. The Ministry of Sport Republic Lithuania started steps to present EDITA DAUBARAITE a high Governmental Award. Unfortunately intrigues did not let to happen this.
Later representing Post Socialist Countries Slovak MARIETA ZIGALOVA (Marieta Žigalova) and  Polish ALEKSANDRA KOBIELAK became the Over All World Fitness Champions too. But it was later.
At this moment EDITA DAUBARAITE (Sendriene) leads the International Judges Committee of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) federation. She is the Director of the Administration of the International Sport University (I.S.U.).

2022. NO OTHER INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING FEDERATION HAS IT‘S OWN MAGAZINE, BUT W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..
WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
Today  the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  International unites 140 Country – Members and organizes every year nearly 60 anual Am and Pro International Events World Wide. Looking from the juridic point of view the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International is no doubt the Real World Bodybuilding Leader.
W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International started issuing the International Magazines in various languages in 1989. The W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. Magazines are spread free of charge during the most important International Sport Events World Wide and also in all Country-Members of the Federation. The Magazines can be found in many basic State Libraries. Once the German Leizig State Library addressed the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International asking the Federation Magazines for the readers.
We would like to underline that no other known International Bodybuilding Sport Organization has it‘s own International Magazine, but the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..
Not long ago the Sport Ministry Lithuania informed the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International that the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. Magazines will be  Representing sport of Republic Lithuania Internationally.
ARNOLD SCWARZENEGGER RECOMMENDS
The first W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Magazine (1989) was the famous methodical issue „Arnold Scwarzenegger Recommends“ („Арнольд Шварценеггер рекомендует»). At that time many East Europe Bodybuilders were short of the methodical knowlidge and that was the reason of the 2 000 000 sucessfull issues of the magazine. The „Arnold Scwarzenegger Recommends“ bacame the real „Cathekizmus“ for most bodybuilders of that time. It was spread in the countries of former U.S.S.R. and East Europe. Several generations of today‘s bodybuilders grew up under these magazines.
WORKING PUBLISHING GROUP
The W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. working publishing group is led by the Member International Journalist Association the International W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. President DSc EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. For the period of the last 30 years the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International published 37 International Magazines under various names in various languages.
GERMAN LEIPZIG STATE LIBRARY.
Our magazines You can find easy at any State Library of Lithuania. Several years ago German State Leipzig Library addressed the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International asking to send them our magazines. So we did then.
WORLD BODYBUILDING  ENCYCLOPEDIA
Crowning it‘s 50 years of  International Bodybuilding activities, the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F.  works on the Unique Global International Bodybuilding Project -  the „World Bodybuilding  Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедия всемирного культуризма»)
Until now nobody even tried to work on such a huge International Project. To be frank, only few people can do it. There were attempts to name some previous works as „Encyclopedia“ too, but that were not Encyclopedias of Bodybuilding Sport in real (for example, as Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s „Encyclopedia“ was written about himself in person mostly). In real every Encyclopedia covers much wider things.
WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
SOCIALIST COUNTRIES BODYBUILDING LITERATURE.
Before the prohibition of bodybuilding in the middle of the sixties of the last century in all Socialist World Countries  the only one regular magazine about bodybuilding sport was Polish „Sport Dla Wszystkich“. At that time Lithuanians presented the basics of bodybuilding in the magazine „The Student“(„Moksleivis“).
Through the time of the prohibition of bodybuilding sport in the Socialist Countries nobody even dreamed about the bodybuilding literature. The exception was in Czechoslovakia Bratislava issued  „Trener“ Magazine and the German D.D.R. (Deutsches Demokratik Republik)  Weight Lifting Magazine „The Weightlifter‘s Training“ ( „Schwer Atlet Training“) which started to publish some information about our sport. During this time DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  used to give articles and contest information for these Magazines. Also for BEN WEIDER‘S „Flex“ magazine. All magazines used to publishe the DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS given materials. First of all it was information from the World‘s Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding Contest, the only one anual International Bodybuilding Event in all Socialist Counties, the „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз», 1968-2022). The above mentioned Czechoslovakia „Trener“ Magazines were published by JOZEF MAZAK and later by MILAN PERDOCH.
International W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. worked and still works on the documents and various materials of World‘s Bodybuilding History. The W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ Magazine started in English, Russian and Lithuanian languages in 1989. During this period of time the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. printed and spread through the World several millions copies of the Magazine. „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ is awailable at the National W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. federations in all 140 Country - members of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. International as well as at the most important World‘s International Bodybuilding and Fitness Events.
Main articles of the „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ Magazine were published in various Internet Pages, sport and public media, among them regularly in Spanish „Fitness Alive“ (Argentina, Magazine for South America and Spain), in German „Fitness News“ (Austria, Magazine for Germany, Austria and Switzerland), in English „Strenght and Health“ (UK, Magazine for England, Scotland and Ireland), in Russian „Zeleznyj Mir“ (Russia, for Russia and Post Soviet Russian Speaking Countries and etc..).
At the beginning a number of the W
.F.F. – W.B.B.F. Magazines were of methodical character. These Magazines were teaching the bodybuilders how to train from the primityve beginning to the Top Professional Level. Through decades the President W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS collected and translated materials and documents from different possible sources, analised, evaluated and systemized them and finally presented as methodical recommendations for the sportsmen. That were a number of popular International Seria Magazines under the titles like “ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER recommends”, “Training Programs of the World’s Best Bodybuilders”, “Bodybuilding Stars Recommend” etc..). Ending the 90-ties of the last century basing on these Magazines a number of new generations of bodybuilders were born and educated. Wishing to have these Magazines in their collections the libraries of a number of Countries addressed the International W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. Headquarters (like German State Library of Leipzig, Germany).
Today the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ („Sportinis fitnesas ir kultūrizmas“, „
Спортивный фитнес и культуризм») magazine has only informative International character but this makes it to be even more important. The Magazine covers most important World‘s Bodybuilding and Fitness Events and it gives true situation of sport on Official International Level, sets the goals of the sport for the future. Nobody else in the World does it, but the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..

WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
1991 “MR. URAL”.
BODYBUILDING TIMES OF CARPETS.
Before it started.
Time goes so fast and today in public often comes information which is far away from the truth. People who were not present at certain events are writing articles and books which are based on rumours. They pay no attention to the facts and opinion of the real participants of these events. For example, several years ago in Lithuania was issued a book “Lithuanian bodybuilding history” which carries facts that are not correct. Some time ago in Russia was issued a book about a famous Russia bodybuilder VLADIMIR DUBININ. For thirty  years VLADIMIR DUBININ  was the President of the National I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders)  Federation of  Russia. There are many not correct facts and interpretations on the history of the U.S.S.R. bodybuilding in the book.
Today after thirty years in internet appeared false information about the 1991 International “Mr. Ural” contest. The information is published by a former Russian bodybuilder OLEG ANDREJEV (Олег Андреев). People start discussing the angry letter of an U.S.S.R. official which he wrote on the background of rumours only.
Continuing our work on the unique International project of the “World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia” («Энциклопедия мирового культуризма», „Pasaulio kultūrizmo enciklopedija“)  in 2020 we plan to issue in various languages a book about the history of bodybuilding in the U.S.S.R.. There will be many historical documents, authentic stories and pictures and the reader will have a chance to see the historic happenings on different angle.
1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest
The organizer of the 1990-1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest in Ural Ufa City was ALTAF GALEJEV. For a number of years ALTAF GALEJEV  used to come with Ufa bodybuilding team to the  officially recognized World’s oldest traditional bodybuilding contest “Amber Prix International” (1968-2022, “Gintarinis prizas”, «Янтарный приз»). Participating at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest contemporary President of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and his wife were the invited personal guests of the organizer ALTAF GALEJEV.
Judges of the 1991 “Mr. Ural”.
Though at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” together with the U.S.S.R. bodybuilders participated teams of Germany, Holland and U.S.A. – the judges were only of the U.S.S.R. side. These judges in years were known one to another. To say more – these judges were trainers of the sportsmen, who participated at the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest and their personal interest in the competition results was very plain and clear. Even more: Lithuanian Judge ARVYDAS MILVYDAS some time before started working as the director of Vilnius sport centre. He had possibilities to offer money to bodybuilders. So he did. ARVYDAS MILVYDAS offered money to a number of known bodybuilders who were for many years trained by a famous U.S.S.R. trainer VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ. The bodybuilders of VITALIJ ASOVSKIJ without any hesitation left him and run to ARVYDAS MILVYDAS. Today when sport became totally commercial  it is nothing special about this, many athletes use to do this. But in the U.S.S.R. of 1991 it was a single unfair happening on the moral side. Having no trainer’s experience before it ARVYDAS MILVYDAS appeared at “Mr. Ural” Competition in Ufa with his team of known bodybuilders.
Judging
After the calculation of the 1991 “Mr. Ural” Contest results the awards ceremony started. Among the usual traditional awards for the winners were the carpets. To understand the situation now we should explain the situation of life in the U.S.S.R.. It is impossible to understand it easy for the contemporary people. Due to political situation for many years cars, carpets, spare parts for cars etc. were impossible to get in the U.S.S.R.. Only the trade unions of the U.S.S.R. were giving special licences for the best workers to buy these things. For German, Holland and U.S.A. participants of the 1991 “Mr. Ural” these carpets were of no value. But the representatives of the U.S.S.R. looked upon this differently. For them the carpets were of great value.  A scandal started during the award ceremony. German, Holland and the U.S.A. representatives did not agree with the judging and they insisted to cancel the judging results.
It was a break at the contest announced. Then the contest organizer ALTAF GALEJEV  collected official representatives of Germany, Holland and U.S.A. for a special meeting. The only one at the competition knowing well the English and the German languages DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was present at the meeting too. The German team was led to Ufa by a famous National trainer of the German team. The team consisted of famous International athletes and among them AUREL HILLEBRAND – one of the winners of the 1991 Europe Championship. At the meeting the representatives spoke that “they came to a bodybuilding contest and not to the place of dividing carpets. Why ALTAF GALEJEV invited them to UFA if there is only the manipulation with carpets?” After the  discussion all of the representatives decided to change the results only in one category. They replaced Lithuanian OLEG ZUR with AUREL HILLEBRAND giving the first place to the German bodybuilder. Also OLEG ZUR had to give back to the German the carpets... AUREL HILLEBRAND  did not want to take the carpets saying he came to the bodybuilding competition and he does not need them. We would like to remind that later in 2004 Lithuanian OLEG ZUR was the over all I.F.B.B. World Champion in Moscow. By the way the 2004 I.F.B.B. World Championship was also full of intrigues. Any can find in various languages the historic documents, articles at the International Page www.wff.lt , read information on the main page and in the forum topics.
Scandal of carpets goes on.
Returned from 1991 “Mr. Ural” home the Lithuania bodybuilders were upset.  They told their story to the Secretary of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS. Hearing only one side and based only on words and rumours ROMANAS KALINAUSKAS wrote an angry letter to the President of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation VLADIMIR DUBININ. Then a special Congress of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation Council was announced. The Congress put punishment to the 1991 “Mr. Ural” organizer  ALTAF GALEJEV. Then ALTAF GALEJEV left the I.F.B.B. and started working with another International Federation.

2022. WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
PRAVOSLAV ORTODOX CHURCH AWARDED AND VATICAN NAMED DISIDENTS.
PREVIEW. TIME OF PROHIBITION AND PROSECUTION OF BODYBUILDING.
Due to political reasons in the early seventies of the last century for nearly two decades bodybuilding was prohibited and prosecuted in the Socialits Countries, especially in the U.S.S.R.. Most bodybuilding leaders got afrayed and stepped away, but not all of them. Among them was DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who on his own risk began the dialoque with the U.S.S.R. Communist Party Central Committee, the U.S.S.R. Government, the U.S.S.R. Sport Ministry (Goskomsport, Госкомспорт С.С.С.Р.) administration and the most important communist press – Newspapers „Pravda“, „Izvestija“ and „Sovietskij Sport“ («Правда», «Известия», «Советский спорт»). DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS wrote letters, spoke on phone with them and finally personally went to Moscow (Russian Federation) to present the officially registered bodybuilding defending letters to the Headquarters of the mentioned above Institutions. Those letters of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  was like real „petitions“ of bodybuilding.
Nobody stopped the prohibition and the prosecution of bodybuilding, but they gave permittion for DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  to go on organizing „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis Prizas“, „Янтарный приз») Contest in Klaipeda (Lithuania). In fact the „Amber Prix International“ was an unofficial U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Championship and this was later accepted by the U.S.S.R. Sport Ministry when it began presenting honourable „U.S.S.R. Sport Master“ names for the „Amber Prix International“ Champions. They say, the „Amber Prix International“ was the World Champiosnip of the Socialist Countries. World level Contests in the Western Countries were no higher in the level of bodybuilders and in the level of organisation, number of the participating Countries and number of participating Athletes. In some aspects „Amber Prix International“ was even higher that those in the West.
VATICAN NAMES BODYBUILDING DISIDENTS.

For this work done the Vatican Congregat Perfect J. Em. JOZEF KARDINAL TOMKO presented the Vatican Pontific Medal (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI) to the International President W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. DSc. 2022. WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
WE ARE NOT INDIFFERENT TO REQUESTS.
HIGHEST INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING ADVISORY COUNCIL.
55 years working W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International is directly connected with the „Amber Prix International“ («Янтарный приз», „Gintarinia prizas“, 1968-2021) contest. „Amber Prix International“ is one of the World‘s oldest traditional historic competition still organized in Lithuania. The value of the „Amber Prix International“ was alvays evident and always many known sport organizers of various Countries use to be present there.
It happened so that through all history of the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. good relations of the International W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and the historic leaders  of the all main traditional International Bodybuilding organizations were in the background. And that were the Owner and the President of International I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) BEN WEIDER, the President of N.A.B.B.A. (National Amateur Body Building Association) OSCAR HEIDENSTAM, the President of W.A.B.B.A. (World Amateur Body Building Association) International SERGE NUBRET.
There were moments in the history of the World Bodybuilding when the International leaders connected DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS for friendly assistance.
In 1970 at the I.F.B.B. Belgrade (Yugoslavia) International Congress SERGE NUBRET was appointed to the position of the I.F.B.B. Vice President. In 1976 SERGE NUBRET set another International organization of W.A.B.B.A. as he explains „to fight with the I.F.B.B.“. Then the conflict between BEN WEIDER  and SERGE NUBRET reached the highest point in the Court then in 1985 SERGE NUBRET  sent to DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS twenty pages of the confident I.F.B.B. documents asking to support him. That was very personal information about BEN WEIDER  and we never published this anywhere.
The IFBB International and the I.F.B.B. U.S.S.R. (established in 1987) as well always were suffering of inside intriques and conflicts. First let us remember the famous weightlifting Olympic Champion JURIJ VLASOV (Юрий Власов)  and how badly he was treated when he was elected to the position of the President of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation. In 1991 President of the U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Federation VASILIJ CHAIKOVSKI (Василий Чайковский) was removed from his position by VLADIMIR DUBININ (Владимир Дубинин). Feeling frustrated of this unfair action VASILIJ CHAIKOVSKIJ imediatelly came to Lithuania. He was looking for support of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS in his relations with BEN WEIDER.
Fifteen years ago understanding that International Bodybuilding Sport is in awful situation WEIDER brothers JOE and BEN sold their magazines and „Olympia“  Contest and got rid of the I.F.B.B.. After this WAYNE DE MILIA was dismissed from the position of the Director of the I.F.B.B. Professional League. Until that he run this position for many years. Then in 2006 WAYNE DE MILIA established his own organization „Pro Division Inc.“ and addressed DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to support him. From that time we have heard nothing about „Pro Division Inc.“.
Fighting in between in 2009  and in 2015 I.F.B.B. split two times. First I.F.B.B. was divided between Assistant of BEN WEIDER Spanish RAFAEL SANTONJA  and the I.F.B.B. Vice President PAUL CHUA from Singapore. At that moment PAUL CHUA was supported only by Asia and Arab Countries. Then PAUL CHUA  and Sheikh of UAE AL SHAFAR came to London (U.K.) to fight with RAFAEL SANTONJA in the Court. PAUL CHUA  addressed DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to support him, but DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS could not come to London as there was European Championship in Lithuania at that time. Also PAUL CHUA and Sheikh AL SHAFAR could not come to Lithuania as they had no E.U. visas. The deal was closed. Some time later PAUL CHUA and the I.F.B.B. Lower ALEX BAUER (Austria) sent 600 pages of I.F.B.B. juridical and financial documents and asked to publish them. We did it as they asked.
Some years ago Australian GRAEME LANCEFIELD established his W.F.F. federation. He started collecting N.A.B.B.A. athletes to his own contests using the N.A.B.B.A. name. N.A.B.B.A. leaders were angry about this. Then in 2018 the President of the N.A.B.B.A. U.S.A. and a famous I.F.B.B. professional bodybuilder EDDIE ROBINSON  addressed DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to support N.A.B.B.A. in fighting against unfair behavior of GRAEME LANCEFIELD. After this GRAEME LANCEFIELD continued acting against N.A.B.B.A.. At the beginning of 2020 the President N.A.B.B.A. International and a famous U.K. Professional bodybuilder ED ELWOOD asked DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS to support N.A.B.B.A. against GRAEME LANCEFIELD again. To help N.A.B.B.A. we wrote and published a thorough article about this.
Different of other International Bodybuilding Organizations today W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. seeks huge aims to make bodybuilding recognized and respected. Our sport became so much commercial that today we are the only ones to fulfill the old dreams of BEN WEIDER.

2022. WORLD BODYBUILDING HISTORY.
I.F.B.B. AND N.A.B.B.A FIFTY YEARS AGO.

Nothing is better than the historic letter of JULIEN BLOMMAERT to BEN WEIDER speaking about the International bodybuilding of the end of seventies and of the beginning of eighties of the last century. On October 1, 1971 the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) Europe Chairman JULIEN BLOMMAERT (Belgium) wrote a letter to the owner and the „Life President“ of the I.F.B.B. BEN WEIDER.
Note: President I.F.B.B. BEN WEIDER gave this letter of JULIEN BLOMMAERT to the I.F.B.B. Vice President SERGE NUBRET. Then in 1985 the above mentioned letter as well as other numerous historic and juridical our sport documents were sent by SERGE NUBRET to the contemporary International President W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. In his letter SERGE NUBRET wrote that DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS is the only one in the U.S.S.R. to get these documents. World bodybuilding legend SERGE NUBRET was appointed to the position of the I.F.B.B. Vice President at the 1970 Belgrade Congress in Yugoslavia. He served at this position until 1975. In 1976 SERGE NUBRET set the International W.A.B.B.A. (World Amateur Body Building Association). SERGE NUBRET thought it will be safe to send the documents to DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who may use them to make the situation in bodybuilding sport more open to public. The documents as well as many other historic bodybuilding articles are kept in the archieve files of the International W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. federation.
In the letter of JULIAN BLOMMAERT the situation in I.F.B.B. and N.A.B.B.A. (National Amateur Body Building Association) is spoken over. At that time in the „Western“ World I.F.B.B. and N.A.B.B.A. were the two basic International bodybuilding organizations. In 1968 in the Socialist World started the first International Bodybuilding organization and that wa the „U.S.S.R. Bodybuilding Committee“. Also in 1968 the historic „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, «Янтарный приз») bodybuilding contest started.
JULIEN BLOMMAERT wrote in his letter about the 12-th I.F.B.B. „Mr. Universe“ (1971) competition. Then the winners were GIUSEPPE DEIANA (Belgium), brother of JULIEN BLOMAERT KARL BLOMAERT and ALBERT BECKLES (UK). In the letter he feels sad about the fact that at the I.F.B.B. „Mr. Universe“ contest a N.A.B.B.A. man ALBERT BECKLES won the over all title. JULIEN BLOMMAERT writes that the I.F.B.B. „Mr. Universe“ organization was terrible that time and that the level of competitors was very bad. After the contest there was a fight and a number of people were taken to hospital.
Also JULIAN BLOMMAERT speaks about bad judging. He accuses representatives of Communist Countries, Arab and Orient Countries who organized their own block at the 1970 I.F.B.B. Belgrade Congress.
Note: at the I.F.B.B. International Belgrade Congress out of 24 Countries present 12 were the „Communist Orients“: Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Malaysia, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Singapore, Syria and Kenya.
JULIEN BLOMMAERT writes that all of the representatives of the „Communist Orients“ are only dressed like people but in fact they are not civilized.
In the same letter JULIEN BLOMMAERT comments the 1971 N.A.B.B.A. „Mr. Universe“ competition. He thinks that the N.A.B.B.A. position is bright. World‘s best elite bodybuilders are with N.A.B.B.A.: CHRIS DICKERSON, SERGIO OLIVA, BILL PEARL, FRANK ZANE, KEN WALLER, REG PARK etc..
In the letter JULIEN BLOMMAERT accused the International I.F.B.B. President BEN WEIDER with taking important decisions alone. This was against the Rules and the Constitution of I.F.B.B. that was accepted at the I.F.B.B. International Congress in Belgrade. JULIEN BLOMMAERT thinks that it is bad for the I.F.B.B. reputation. He asks BEN WEIDER to „awake otherwise everybody will run away from the I.F.B.B. and only he and JULIEN BLOMMAERT will remain“.
Note: the same situation was also in 1990 when nearly all I.F.B.B. Professional bodybuilders left the I.F.B.B. federation and joined the activities of VINCE MAC MAHON.

2022. GLOBAL TELEVISION C.N.N. PRESENTED W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. TO A BILLION PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.
FOREIGN MINISTRY REPUBLIC LITHUANIA WORKS WITH W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..
Today the International Federation W.F.F.  – W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) unites 140 Country-Members from all Continents. Every year W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. holds over 60 International Events in various Countries.
C.N.N. NEWS PRESENTED W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. TO A BILLION PEOPLE WORLD WIDE.
Some time ago the Global C.N.N. (Cable News Network) television made a special report on the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. events that were held in Klaipeda (E.U., Republic Lithuania) in May, 2017. That were the 50-th „Amber Prix International“ Янтарный приз», «Gintarinis Prizas“, 1968-2022) and the 18-th „Universe“ contests. Due to this a billion (milliard) people World Wide had a possibility to see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International work.
C.N.N. is one of the World‘s most important International News Television Companies. We do not remember that C.N.N. ever reported about bodybuilding sport before. Positively reported... We are proud that the report was about the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International Events, that had happened in Lithuania, European Union.
Before this the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International also had a number of  reports on other International Television Companies, such as  „Eurosport“, „Sky News“ and many national televisions of various countries through the World.
FOREIGN MINISTRY REPUBLIC LITHUANIA WORKS WITH W.F.F. – W.B.B.F..
Receiving the information about the C.N.N. preparations to make a report from the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. International events in Lithuania, the Lithuania Republic Foreign Ministry officials addressed the International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  and assisted him in the common work with the C.N.N. television.
W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. ALWAYS WAS NON KOMMERCIAL SPORT ORGANIZATION.
During the fivety years of it‘s activities the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. always kept on the real sport side. Though there were various political and economical dificulties, the federation never stopped working on (read historical articles on the International Site www.wff.lt).
W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. athletes always had possibilities to seek the highest titles at the International recognized official contests. Historic statistics prove the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. is a prestigeous International Federation among all federations. One can organize several successfull competitions, but it is not the same as the fifty five years of serious stable work. The power of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. – fifty five years of constant International Sport work.
Today the valuables of the mankind changed. For most people money means everything. No morality, only money and lies. The 3000 years lasting Bible Concept of Ruling Menkind is close to the end. Today most of International Sport Organizations are commercial. Even W.A.D.A. (World Anti Doping Agency) seeks profit and this is the reason that not every International Sport Organization can join W.A.D.A.. Such mentioned above organizations  proclame commerce, not sport. It is a theater of absurd now and we were writing about this many times before.
W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain conservative and it will not follow other commercial sport organizations.  W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. will remain on the real sport side and this is our priority.
In difference to other organizations W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. collaborates with the recognized International Sport Institutions, National Governmental Structures and representatives of all religions. All of them notice and valuate the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. activities. We see the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. as a strong friendly unit and this is our power.
