WHAT INTERNATIONAL CONTEST IS OFFICIAL AND WHAT CONTEST IS NOT OFFICIAL?
OFFICIAL INTERNATIONAL CONTESTS.
If You will address to any Olympic Committee or Sport Ministry, then any of You will get a plain answer - official International contests are the following ones:
-Olympic Games
-World Championship and World Cup
-Continent Championship or Cup (America, Europe, Asia etc..).
Every officially working International Sport Federation follow the above statement.
OFFICIAL NATIONAL CONTESTS
Official National Contests are:
Annual National Championship and National Cup.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS TO W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. INTERNATIONAL CONTEST ORGANIZERS.
Three specific requirements of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. International should be followed:
1.officially appointed group of the International secretaries (including a professional photographer) must work at any official contest
2.at least 5 Internationally Certified Judges must work at any official contest. International Judges Certificates are given to any National Judge after attending the annual International Judges Seminar.
3.The organizer of any official contest must solve the question of covering expenses of International secretaries and International judges that must be present at a definite official event
4.Any International contest that does not cover these 3 above requirements can not be official from the point of view of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. International.
W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. INTERNATIONAL OFFICIAL CONTESTS
In difference to most so called „International bodybuilding federations“ the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. International does it‘s best to work as any official federation of any sport. „various „festivals“, „weekends“, „classics“, „nights of champions“, „variety shows“ never were W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. official contests as it is among other „federations“.
The 50 years lasting history of the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. federation is highly connected with „Amber Prix International“ which served as the unofficial World Championship of over 20 socialist countries for nearly 30 years. It was recognized by the Ministry of Sport of the U.S.S.R. (1989). This is the reason the „Amber Prix International“ is included to the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. official contests. Also bodybuilding is not an Olympic kind of sport. This is the reason that the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. counts the status of the „Universe“ contest equal to the World Championship.
In 2024 about 60 contests are organized under the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. name in various countries - Europe, America and Asia.

MODEL FITNESS - WHAT IS IT?
20 YEARS OF W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. MODEL FITNESS CATEGORY.
MODEL FITNESS VERSUS MODEL BODYBUILDING.
20 years ago W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) created “Model Fitness” categories at the International and National Contests. Since that time most International federations copied W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. in many innovating activities. During the time “Model Fitness” competitors became muscular and there was no difference from bodybuilders.
At the 2014 W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. World Amateur Championship in Slovakia many competitors were not allowed to participate at the Model Fitness Contest. The reason was their muscularity. Every year more and more muscular competitors try to attend Model Fitness Contests. W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. understands Model Fitness Competitors as a sportsmen without sharp and competitively big “doping looking” muscles.
Step by step W.F.F. federation divorces with W.B.B.F. - fitness goes away from bodybuilding. Until now W.F.F. and W.B.B.F. contests are held together but we will start making them separately too. Fitness is not bodybuilding. Remember - in 1998 I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee) refused to recognize bodybuilding as sport and the I.F.B.B. (International Federation of Body Builders) federation was “thrown out” from the recognized federations list. From that time bodybuilding is no more sport. Until now only former National I.F.B.B. federations of former Socialist Countries fool their Ministries of Sport and use to get governmental financial support. Soon the W.F.F. - International will sign the Contract with W.A.D.A. (World Anti Doping Agency).

LITHUANIA OLDEST BODYBUILDING GYM.
Twenty years ago at the Lithuania oldest bodybuilding “Gintaras” (“Amber Gym”) gym trained ZYGIMANTAS JUODEIKIS. “Amber Gym” celebtrates 58 years of it’s activity. Being 16 years old at a Lithuania power contest ZYGIMANTAS JUODEIKIS bentch pressed 220 kgs. barbell and squatted with 260 kgs.. In 2005 he made a try at the bodybuilding contest and won his category. That was the W.F.F. - W.B.B.F. (World Fitness Federation, World Bodybuilding Federation) Europe Championship in Riga (Latvia). Then ZYGIMANTAS JUODEIKIS was a junior but participated and won against grown up athletes.
