A central objective of the meetings was to coordinate preparations for the international championship and strengthen cooperation between the WFF-WBBF and its Polish partners.
HISTORIC GDANSK – HOST CITY OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Gdańsk, one of Poland's most historic cities and an important European port, was selected to host the WFF-WBBF World Amateur Championship in 2015.
The forthcoming championship represented a major international undertaking, requiring close coordination between the World Federation, the Polish national federation and the host city.
During his official visit, Dr. Edmundas Daubaras held a series of meetings devoted to the organization of the championship, the reception of international delegations, sporting arrangements and cooperation with local authorities.
Particular attention was given to ensuring that the World Championship would be organized at an international level appropriate to the status of the WFF-WBBF and its participating national federations.
