In 2017 the World‘s Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding Contest „Amber Prix International“ (международный турнир „Янтарныйприз», “Gintarinis prizas”, 1968-2017) celebrates it‘s 50-th anniversary. ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MODERN BODYBUILDING. Crowning it‘s 50 years of International Bodybuilding activities, the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works on the unique Global Bodybuilding Project - the „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедиямировогокультуризма»). 20 YEARS OF HISTORIC VICTORY! Participating at more than 20 various level competitions in 1997 in Essen (Germany) in front of millions of the „Eurosport“ television fans the Lithuanian Athlete EDITA SENDRIENE won the title historic of the Over All World Fitness Champion. This was the first so high sport title in the history of our sport for a Post Socialist World Country athlete. Lithuania Journalists ellected EDITA SENDRIENE as the „MOST LOVELY SPORTSMAN OF THE 1996“ (see „Vakaru Ekspresas“ Newspaper‘s information). The 2017 is an extraordinary year for the World Bodybuilding. In 2017 the International Sport Society is celebrating the World‘s Oldest Historic Traditional Bodybuilding Contest „Amber Prix International“ (международный турнир „Янтарныйприз», tarptautinis “Gintarinio prizo” turnyras) 50-th anniversary (1968-2017). In 2017 the International Sport Society is celebrating the 120-th anniversary of the first bodybuilding contest ever (held in 1898 in England and Russia). Also in 1898 in England the first Bodybuilding „Health and Strenght“ Magazine has been started to issue and it is issued until now by ROY EDWARDS (UK). In 2017 the International Sport Society is celebrating the 90-th anniversary of female fitness sport. It is connected with the famous BRONE‘s DUBAR regular trainings and participation in the New York City in 1927 - 1930. We are glad to state that the Americans started collecting additional historic information about BRONE DUBAR for the coming „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“. Historically BRONE DUBAR with her family emigrated from Lithuania to the US right before the First World War. WORLD BODYBUILDING ENCYCLOPEDIA. Crowning it‘s 50 years of International Bodybuilding activities, the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works on the unique Global Bodybuilding Project - the „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедиямировогокультуризма», “Pasaulio kultūrizmo enciklopedija”). During the last decades the International WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) writes a lot about the so called “International federations” that are not legal and work unofficial way. Athletes use to participate at such federations as most of them do not know the juridical truth.
On September 4, 2017 the Chairman of the Arab Physical Culture Federation (APCF, based in Beirut, Lebanon) Professor Dr. FAWZI KHODARI addressed the WFF-WBBF International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, asking to join the WFF-WBBF activities.

My name is Edmundas Daubaras, Doctor Honoris Causa, President of the International Sport University (I.S.U.), President of the World Fitness Federation (WFF), President of the World Body Building Federation (WBBF), and international journalist. After graduating from the Vilnius’ Vytautas the Great University in the specialties of philology and law, I was presented by the Lvov Stavropigeon University with the highest academic degree of the Doctor Honoris Causa in 2012. I received many awards during the decades of my work, some of which include the Order of Christ (2017, Republic Ukraine), the Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI (2011, Vatican) for confronting the communist regime, the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Silver-Gold Medal (2010, Portugal) for the ideas uniting world’s religions, and the Order of Auseklis (2009, Latvia) for International sport development. In 2008, together with the Governor of the State of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I was included to the Honour Book of the Kingdom of Denmark and I also received the John Grimek Premium (2005, Italy).
Free from politics and open to all religions, the World Fitness Federation and the World Body Building Federation run their history from 1968. During the last thirty years, the above mentioned federations were growing rapidly and today they unite 128 country members from all continents. The most active countries are Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Poland, Benelux and the Baltic States, India and Japan. Different from other private companies and organizations, our federations are social non-profit unions. The official WFF and WBBF International page online, www.wff.lt, attracts lots of visitors every day as no other sport organization in the world seeks official sport development.
Since 1989, the WFF and WBBF has been issuing the Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding magazine in various languages and spreading them free of charge in the countries that are members of the WFF and WBBF. Also the mentioned magazines are spread during the world’s most important international contests worldwide.
In order to continue developing the international sport and helping people and sportsmen gain wider knowledge, we opened and registered the International Sport University (I.S.U.) in the EU in 2016. In 2017 the I.S.U. professors will give teaching seminars and lectures in the Republic of South Africa, Russian Federation, Baltic States, India and Turkey.
Despite the WFF and WBBF being free of politics, politicians of many countries acknowledge our work and support our international activities. Among those who have supported us are: Professor Alfred Gerstl (President of the Parliament of the Republic of Austria), Robert Fico (Prime minister of the Slovak Republic), Gediminas Kirkilas (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2006-2008), and Algirdas Butkevicius (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2012-2016). Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania voted to finance one of the world‘s oldest traditional WFF and WBBF contests, „Amber Prix International“, and organized a number of official meetings with the chairmen of the WFF and WBBF International.
Every year, the WFF and WBBF organize around sixty international events in various countries. The work of the WFF and WBBF International involves various activities, such as disabled sport, the Fit-kid sport starting from 6 years of age, power fitness, model fitness, aerobic fitness, and traditional bodybuilding. The WFF-WBBF pays great attention to the division of working with disabled sportsmen.

2018. CZECH AND SLOVAK BODYBUILDING. ANALYTICAL REVUE. (Continuation of the previous Article) THE BEGINNING. The history of the Czechoslovakia Bodybuilding starts in 1967. Then the first Czechoslovakia Bodybuilder JURAJ VISNY was known after a number of his sucessfull contests on International Level.
CZECHOSLOVAKIA MOVES AS A ROCKET. In 1975 for two months DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was working in the capital city of Czechoslovakia Prague. Remember - it was the time when for political reasons Bodybuilding in all Socialist Countries was prohibited and prosecuted. Being afrayed nobody of the Sport Leaders in the Socialist Countries dared to do anything to develop Bodybuilding (more information and documents about this are published in various languages in the International Magazines „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“ («Спортивныйфитнесикультуризм», “Sportinis fitnesas ir kultūrizmas”) and on the International Web Site www.wff.lt, read Articles on the main page and forum topics „World Bodybuilding History. How it was in real“ and „Various International Organizations“). 1975 was the unique year for Czechoslovakia bodybuilders. Then the President Czechoslovakia National Bodybuilding Federation was VOJTECH FIALA. Due to VOJTECH FIALA personal efforts and personal relations with the Government Czechoslovakia and a number of International Organizations Czechoslovakia Federation got the unique political permittion to participate at the Competitions of the „Western World“. That were the Contests organized by the Owner and the President of the Commercial IFBB Company BEN WEIDER. This was the unbelievable Winning among all Socialist bodybuilders as for nearly two next decades no other National Federation af any Socialist Countiries could participate in the „Western World“, but Czechoslovakia. After meeting the President Czechoslovakia National Bodybuilding Federation VOJTECH FIALA in 1975 DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS had a chance to not only watch but even to participate at the very important International Bodybuilding Events as well. Then DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was invited as a VIP Guest to participate at two Meetings of the Czechoslovakia National Bodybuilding Federation Executive Council in Brno. Another Czechoslovakia Bodybuilding Leader Professor FRANTISEK BULVA was present at the above mentioned meetings too. Among other guestions the matter of the relations with the USSR Bodybuilding was discussed over. In order to continue the relations the Executive Council appointed IVAN MACH to be responsible for the USSR matters and affairs (later Ivan Mach became the President of the Czechoslovakia National Bodybuilding Federation). Under the initiative of the President VOJTECH FIALA DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS again as a VIP Guest attended the Government supported Camp of the National Bodybuilding Team of Czechoslovakia. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS personally met and spoke with the Czechoslovakia Team Leaders PETR STACH, PETR TLAPAK, ALOIS PEK and a number of other Bodybuilders and National Trainers. In 1975 PETR STACH was the first historical representative of the Socialist World who became Europe Bodybuilding Champion. Then in Sweden Czechoslovakia Bodybuilders was a shok for the „Western“ representatives as they demnostrated them a beautiful complex of individual routines. His new autobiography "Bodybuilding and other secrets of success" become a bestseller in Russia/CIS in November 2017. Nevsky is established movie star and a household name in his home country. His TV show "Self Made Man" had an audience of about 50M people weekly on Channel One Russia in the 90s. He was featured in most of publications included The Hollywood Reporter Russia, Men's Health Russia, GQ Russia, Playboy Russia etc. His first Hollywood film was Walter Hill's Undisputed, his credits also included Somewhere by Sofia Coppola. Nevsky produced 7 international action films to date (Moscow Heat, Treasure Raiders, Magic Man and Showdown in Manila among others). He made his directorial debut with an action thriller Black Rose which was a theatrical box office hit in Russia/CIS already and was released in North America by eOne / Sony. In 2017 the International Sport Society was celebrating the World‘s Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding Contest „Amber Prix International“ (международный турнир „Янтарныйприз», “Gintarinio prizo” turnyras) 50-th anniversary (1968-2017). In 2018 the International Sport Society is celebrating the 120-th anniversary of the first bodybuilding contests ever (held in 1898 in England and Russia). Also in 1898 in England the first Bodybuilding „Health and Strenght“ Magazine has been started to issue and it is issued until now by ROY EDWARDS (UK). In 2017 the International Sport Society was celebrating the 90-th anniversary of female fitness. It is connected with the famous BRONE‘s DUBAR regular trainings and participation in New York City in 1927. We are glad to state that the Americans started collecting additional historic information about BRONE DUBAR for the coming „Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding“. BRONE DUBAR with her family emigrated from Lithuania to the US right before the First World War. WORLD BODYBUILDING ENCYCLOPEDIA. Crowning it‘s 50 years of International Bodybuilding activities, the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) works on the unique Global Bodybuilding Project - the „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“ («Энциклопедиямировогокультуризма»). The Encyclopedia Project works are led by the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. Until now nobody even tried to work on such a huge International Project. To be frank, only few people can do it. There were attempts to name some works „Encyclopedia“ too, but that were not Encyclopedias of Bodybuilding Sport in real (for example, as Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s „Encyclopedia“ which he has written about himself in person mostly). Every Encyclopedia covers much wider basic things. Starting with EUGENY SANDOW our „World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia“ covers the period of over 100 years time.
