FACTS ABOUT INDIAN BODY BUILDING FEDERATION
• IBBF founded in the year 1963.
• IBBF recognized by the Ministry of youth affairs and sports, Govt.of India in the year 1973.
• IBBF recognized by the Indian Olympic Association in the year 1998.
• IBBF affiliated with International Federation of Body Builders (IFBB), Canada from 1963 to 2004.
• IBBF affiliated with Asian Body Builders Federation (ABBF), Singapore from 1972 to 2004.
• The Senior Asian Body Building championship organized by the IBBF in New Delhi,India in the year 1996.
• IBBF participated in the Busan Asian Games in the year 2002.
• The first South Asian Body Building Championship organized by IBBF in Nashik, Maharashtra India in the year 1998.
• The Second Commonwealth Body Building championship organized by IBBF in W.Bengal,India in the year 2001.
• The 4th South Asian Body Building championship organized by IBBF in Panjim,Goa,India in the year 2002.
• The World Amateur Body Building championship organized by IBBF in Mumbai,India in the year 2003,Total 57 countries participated.
• IBBF is now not affiliated with any International Body for the sport of Bodybuilding.
