World Fitness Championships
Polish team succeeded in the World Fitness and Body Building Championships that took place last weekend in Bydgoszcz. Competitors from Poland won 13 medals.
Almost 170 participants from 29 countries participated in the competitions. Qualifying competitions and semifinals were held in “Kinoteatr” and the Sunday finals were organized in “Łuczniczka” Sport Hall.
The Polish team included 10 female competitors from Bydgoszcz UKS Fitness with Natalia Bocian being the most successful. She won two gold medals in sport fitness under 21 and in model fitness senior category. The competitor trained by Małgorzata Maciejewska - Natalia Bocian was chosen the best female contestant of the championships, and additionally received Grand Prix from sponsors. One of the guests at the event was Edmundas Daubaras – the president of the World Fitness Federation, who appreciated the organization of the Bydgoszcz championships.
