WORLD BODY BUILDING FEDERATION (WBBF)
Today we received a letter from the Republic South Africa.
Africans want to organize 2009 WBBF World Student's Championship:

I would like to know if there is any representation in Southern Africa, if not what criteria needs to be met to start a charter of WBBF in South Africa?
Further I would like to know if it is possible to host a World Student Champs, a open competition for students under 16 to students under 25?
What requirements do I need to fulfill to host such an event?
I have written in the past, but have not received a reply to these questions, I would appreciate an answer as I feel that the WBBF will be the best body to affiliate my athletes too.
Looking forward to your response.

The Answer of the WFF-WBBF International Federation is:

Dear friend,
This is a very interesting idea.
The official status of the Contest is high enough.
But:
1.Your Country is so fare away and I am not sure that many Countries will have financial possibilities to come.
If You have 10-15 Countries participating there, that would not seem serious then.
Anyway let us discuss this.
Let us think about it for some time.

Today we received a call from UK.
It was a very long discussion.
UK is a lovely country, especially when we speak about Bodybuilding.
UK has so old and nice Bodybuilding traditions that even USA can only dream about this!
So a World Wide well-known Bodybuilder from UK begins working with the WFF-WBBF International.
We had competitors from UK at WFF-WBBF International contests, but there was no national organization up to now in UK.
So the situation changes: the serious work started, there will come WFF-WBBF International Contests to this World’s great bodybuilding center.
In a country like UK is this is not so easy.
It means the work should be done on the high level.
We have spoken about the problematic questions in UK and in the World about the Bodybuilding.
We see the ways out of the Bodybuilding crisis and we start to work on this.
We do not give the name of this top Bodybuilder.
Nothing new – once we do it and the pressing from the “friends” will start.
Just wait and see!

This 2005 WFF World Amateur Championship was extraordinary not only with the number of competitors.
One of the Sponsors "LIETUVOS TELEKOMAS" spent 45 000 US dollars and the Championship was live in Internet from the beginning til the end.

Today we received a letter from Serbia.
President WFF-WBBF Serbia ALEKSANDRA RAPAJIC writes:

Dear Ed,
How's everything going?
I'm about to open my new gym, it took a lot of time and effort, but it was really worth it.
The year was very successful with great competitions and travels and I'm getting ready to organize Balkan Championship.
If it' not too much trouble, would you mind sending me official letter in which you confirm that I'm the official representative of WFF in Serbia and that you grant me the right to organize Balkan FItness Championship.
This letter is prerequisite to get sponsorship from the government and what I would like to do is to make this Championship of Open type, for anyone interested in participating.
If you can, send it to my house address and email it to me too.
Thank you in advance
Yours,
Aleksandra
