2020. Celebrating more than fifty years of the WFF-WBBF International Activities and confronting the coming New Year of 2020 - Congratulating Words of the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. Edmundas Daubaras.
Closing the year of the 2019 we want to thank all of You for the huge work that was done. We have been working much and achieved good positive results in 2019 again. Today the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International federation unites national organizations of 135 countries, that represent all Continents.
During the last fifty years of it‘s International activities, the WFF-WBBF presented the highest International Honour Sport Award – the International Honour Gold Medal. Among the World Sport VIP Persons this Award was presented to the President Parliament Austria Professor Alfred Gerstl, Slovakia Prime Minister Vladimir Meciar, Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico, the Mecenats Stefan Hrcka (Slovakia) and Jerzy Gotowski (Poland), Aleksandr Gridin (Lithuania), and the Hollywood Sport Personalities Aleksandr Nevsky (Russia-USA), Sylvester Stallone (USA), Ralf Moller (Germany-USA) and Chuck Norris (USA).
In 2019 at the old historic Lithuania Raudondvaris Castle the WFF-WBBF International awarded with the Honour Silver Medal the following V.I.P. Persons: SIGITAS PAULAUSKAS, Mecenat, Lithuania; ANDREJ BASOV, International Vice President WFF-WBBF, Russia; LALIT KUMAR SONI, International Vice President WFF-WBBF, India; DAINIUS DZIKEVICIUS, World Bodybuilding Legend, Lithuani;, VALERIJ KORESKOV, World Bodybuilding Legend, Lithuania; SVETLANA PUGACHEVA, Chairman International Technical Committee, Russia.
During the last period of time the new members were included to the International federation, such as Thailand, Nepal, Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Working Internationally many official and working visits were organized to various countries, such as India, Thailand, Malaysia, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia etc..
In 120 years of the World Sport History it was the first time when representing our sport the International President WFF-WBBF DSc. Edmundas Daubaras visited and worked at the Headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva (Switzerland).
Imagine – we organized 60 International Events World Wide! The Official Flag and the Official Himna of the WFF-WBBF International federation were presented at the most important World‘s Events. Especially important to the World‘s official sport were the our sport live history the 52-d „Amber Prix International“ (1968 - 2019, «Янтарный приз», «Gintarinis prizas“), the 30-th World Amateur and Professional Championships, the 20-th „Universe“ and the 4-th BRICS Championship. In 2019 WFF-WBBF received permition to organize a WFF-WBBF Pro Event on Eiffel Tower in Paris (France). We will do our best to make it in 2020.
No one other International Organization, that represents our sport, can not be proud of so long history of it’s International activities. No one of them has so many Country - Members. No one organizes so many official International events. No one of other organizations seek developing of our sport on official level, but the WFF-WBBF. They even do not try to do this. To say more – today all International Federations have chosen the commercial way of their development and nearly all of them are private commercial profit companies today, not sport federations.
Especially we were would like to underline tremendous work done by the WFF-WBBF International VIP Officials Lalit Soni (India), Andrej Basov, Svetlana Pugacheva and Ksenija Skvorcova (all Russia), Edita Sendriene, Dainius Dzikevicius and Vytautas Mikuckis (all Lithuania), Jorge Cedale (Argentina), Alloudin Bhatte (Pakistan), Tolga Murat Balikci (Turkey), Alireza Rasa (Iran), Omid Ramez (Canada), Amirhossein Pourezzat (Malaysia), Pibe Rodriguez (Paraguay), Gianni Almeida (Brazil), James Davidsom (South Africa), Angelina Romanovic (Latvia), Vasilij Bespalenko (Ukraine), Gvidon Alvantzian (Cyprus), Sergej Medvedev (Uzbekistan), Simo Bogdanoff (Finland), Dave Foster (UK), Leonor Hilario Greffel (Mozambique), Gvidon Alvantzian (Cyprus) and Oleg Akopov (Bulgaria), Wojciech Nadolski and Grazyna Korpan (both Poland) and many other our sport personalities.
The WFF-WBBF International goes on working on the unbelievable huge unique work – the “World Bodybuilding Encyclopedia” (“Pasaulinė kultūrizmo enciklopedija”, «Энциклопедия всемирного культуризма»). It will be published in various languages. Until now nobody in the World ever dared to do such a tremendous project.
In 2016 under the initiative of the WFF-WBBF International the International Sport University (I.S.U., Tarptautinis sporto universitetas, Международный университет спорта; www.isuniversity.lt ) was established and registered in the European Union. Under the guidance of talanted administrators and scientists now it works succcessfully. In 2017 the ISU became the Associated member of the UNESCO organization at the UN (United Nations). Professor of four Universities Vasilij Bespalenko works activelly at the International Sports University.
We work with various power sports over 50 years. In 2012 under the initiative of our representatives of Canada, India, Italy and Lithuania we established the WPSF (World Power Sports Federation).
Various International and National Social and Governmental Institutions notice huge efforts of the WFF-WBBF International. We were presenting and publishing information on this many times. During the International Academic Conference in Lvov (Ukraine) the Rector of the International Sport University DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS received a high award. The Rector of the historically oldest Ukraine Stavropigion University Professor DSc. YAROSLAV KMIT awarded DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS for his huge International social activities with the highest University Award – the „ORDER OF MERIT“. Not long ago the same Order was presented to Kijev and Ukraine Patriarch Filaret (Патриарх Киевский и всея Украины Филарет).
Some time ago the Chairman Parliament Republic Slovakia Mgr. Art. Andrej Hrciar sent his congratulating words to the WFF-WBBF International and also he awarded the International President DSc. Edmundas Daubaras with the Honour Award of the Parliament Republic Slovakia. After several years we would like to remember that in 2012 in Vatican through His personal letter the Roman Pope Benedictus XVI (Benedetto XVI) blessed the WFF-WBBF International activities.
Representing World‘s Fitness and Bodybuilding Sport the WFF-International and the WBBF-International are the only ones World Wide Officially Registered International Non Profit Sport Organizations that work well for our sport so long time. New ideas and tremendous work done for the International Sport make the WFF and WBBF to be the today’s International Leaders in Bodybuilding and Fitness World Wide. We mean the Official Level. The WFF and WBBF do not live yesterday’s life. We have lots of new Global Bodybuilding Projects ahead.
HEALTH, SUCCESS, LUCK AND HAPPINESS IN 2020!!!
God bless all of us in our sincere pray!
2020. ARAB COUNTRIES WELCOMED AT WFF-WBBF.
MORE ORDER WILL COME IN INTERNATIONAL BODYBUILDING CHAOS.
During the last decades the International WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) writes a lot about the so called “International federations” that are not legal and work unofficial way. Athletes use to participate at such federations as most of them do not know the juridical truth.
Some time ago the Chairman of the Arab Physical Culture Federation (APCF, based in Beirut, Lebanon) Professor Dr. FAWZI KHODARI addressed the WFF-WBBF International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, asking to join the WFF-WBBF activities.
The International President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS responded positively:
Klaipeda, Republic Lithuania
Dear friend,
Thank You for Your letter.
My name is Edmundas Daubaras, Doctor Honoris Causa, Rector of the International Sport University (I.S.U.), President of the World Fitness Federation (W.F.F.), President of the World Body Building Federation (W.B.B.F.), President of the World Power Sports Federation (WPSF), Vice President “Regina Welfare Cancer Society”, and international journalist. After graduating from the Vilnius Vytautas the Great University in the specialties of philology and law, I was presented by the Lvov Stavropigeon University with the highest academic degree of the Doctor Honoris Causa in 2012. I received many awards during the decades of my work, some of which include: the „Order of St. Stanislaw“ (2018, Republic of Poland), the “Order of Ukraine Getman Ivan Sulima” (2018, Republic of Ukraine), the Order of Christ (2017, Lvov, Ukraine), the Honour Medal of the Parliament of the Slovak Republic (2013, Bratislava, Slovak Republic), the Honour Medal of the Lvov Stavropigeon University (2012, Republic Ukraine), the Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI (2011, Vatican), for confronting the communist regime, the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Silver-Gold Medal (2010, Coimbra, Portugal) for the ideas uniting World’s religions, and the Order of Auseklis (2009, Riga, Latvia) for international sport development. In 2008, together with the Governor of the State of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I was included to the Honour Book of the Kingdom of Denmark and also received the international John Grimek Premium (2005, Italy).
Free from politics and open to all religions, the World Fitness Federation and the World Body Building Federation run their history from 1968. During the last thirty years, the above mentioned federations were growing rapidly and today they unite 128 country members from all continents. The most active countries are Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Poland, Benelux and the Baltic States, India and Japan. Different from other private companies and organizations, our federations are social non-profit unions. The official WFF and WBBF International page online, www.wff.lt, attracts lots of visitors every day as no other sport organization in the world seeks official sport development.
Since 1989, the WFF and WBBF has been issuing the Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding magazine in various languages and spreading them free of charge in the countries that are members of the WFF and WBBF. Also the mentioned magazines are spread during the world’s most important international contests worldwide.
In order to continue developing the international sport and helping people and sportsmen gain wider knowledge, we opened and registered the International Sport University (I.S.U.) in the EU in 2016. In 2017 the I.S.U. professors will give teaching seminars and lectures in the Republic of South Africa, Russian Federation, Baltic States, India and Turkey.
Despite the WFF and WBBF being free of politics, politicians of many countries acknowledge our work and support our international activities. Among those who have supported us are: Professor Alfred Gerstl (President of the Parliament of the Republic of Austria), Robert Fico (Prime minister of the Slovak Republic), Gediminas Kirkilas (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2006-2008), and Algirdas Butkevicius (Prime minister of the Republic of Lithuania 2012-2016). Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania voted to finance one of the world‘s oldest traditional WFF and WBBF contests, „Amber Prix International“, and organized a number of official meetings with the chairmen of the WFF and WBBF International.
Every year, the WFF and WBBF organize around sixty international events in various countries. The work of the WFF and WBBF International involves various activities, such as disabled sport, the Fit-kid sport starting from 6 years of age, power fitness, model fitness, aerobic fitness, and traditional bodybuilding. The WFF-WBBF pays great attention to the division of working with disabled sportsmen.
In Your letter You are wishing to join our activities. We can work together. What are Your ideas about that?
Yours,
DSc. Edmundas Daubaras.”
